Note to your attention — operational information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 06.00 on June 2, 2023 regarding the Russian invasion of our country.

Glory to Ukraine! The four hundred sixty-fourth day of large-scale military aggression by the Russian Federation against Ukraine has begun.

The Russian Federation, suffering heavy losses, continues to employ a terror tactic, attempting to intimidate the population of Ukraine.

Preceding. During the night, the enemy used 15 cruise missiles (type to be specified) and 18 Iranian Shahed attack drones — all these aerial targets were destroyed by our defenders. Information is being clarified.

Over the past day, the enemy carried out 12 missile strikes using 10 ballistic and cruise missiles of the "Iskander" type on Kyiv (destroyed by our defenders) and two S-300 air defense missiles on Kharkiv. Additionally, it conducted 46 aerial attacks and made 107 shelling operations with multiple rocket launchers against positions of our troops and populated areas. Sadly, there are fatalities and injuries among civilians, including children; a children's clinic was damaged, as well as residential multi-story buildings, private homes, and other civilian infrastructure.

The likelihood of missile and aerial strikes across the entire territory of Ukraine remains high.

The enemy continues to concentrate its main efforts on attempts at full occupation of Luhansk and Donetsk regions. During the past day, units of the Defense Forces repelled 25 enemy attacks.

On the Volynian and Polesian fronts, the operational situation remains stable; signs of forming offensive groupings have not been detected.

On the Northern and Slobozhanskyi fronts, the enemy continues to maintain a military presence in border areas with Ukraine. Conducted an aerial strike near Halyaganyvka, Chernihiv region. Carried out mortar and artillery shelling of populated areas of Berelevka, Yelene, Misky, Khotyivka, Timonovychi, Yanzhulivka, Krasnykh Hutir, and Mykolaivka in the Chernihiv region; Seredyna-Buda, Atinskye, Pavlivka, Pysaryvka, Ugrodzi, Krassnopillya, Slavgorod in the Sumy region, as well as Udi, Kozacha Lopan', Hoptivka, Ogireve, Gatsiche, Bugruvatka, Vovchanskyi, Mala Vovcha, Varvarivka, Budarky, Chugunivka in Kharkiv oblast.

On the Kupyansk front, during the past day, the enemy carried out unsuccessful offensive operations west of Masutivka in the Kharkiv region and near Kuzemivka in Luhansk. Conducted aerial strikes in the areas of Vilsiany, Kotlyarivka, Krokhmalnoye in the Kharkiv region, and Sergiyevka — Luhansk. Artillery and mortar shelling was suffered by Figolivka, Novomlynskyi, Dvorichna, Masutivka, Liman First, Kyslivka, Beresteve in the Kharkiv region, and Novoselivske in the Luhansk region.

On the Lyman front, during the past day, the enemy carried out unsuccessful offensive operations near Bilohorivka in the Luhansk region and Spirtino in Donetsk. Conducted aerial strikes in the areas of Bilohorivka — Luhansk, Yamopolivka, Severnyi, and Spirtino — Donetsk. Artillery shelling was suffered by Nevskoye, Bilohorivka in the Luhansk region, and Novosadovoe, Torske, Spirtne, and Mykolayivka in the Donetsk region.

On the Bakhmut front, during the day, the enemy carried out aerial strikes in the areas of Khromove, White Mountain, Oleksandr-Shulthynoye — Donetsk. Suffered from enemy artillery shelling Kramatorsk, Vasyukivka, Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Novomarkove, Grygoriyevka, Chasiv Yar, Ivanivske, Predtekhine, White Mountain, Dilyeivka, Zalizne, and New York — Donetsk.

On the Avdiyivka front, the enemy did not conduct offensive operations. Conducted aerial strikes in the areas of Avdiyivka and Vodyany — Donetsk. Carried out artillery shelling of populated areas of Avdiyivka, Vodyane, Pervomayske, Karlivka — Donetsk.

On the Mariupol front, our defenders repelled all enemy attacks in the area of Mariinka city. There an enemy aerial strike was carried out, artillery shelling suffered by Georgiyivka, Mariinka, Pobeda and Novomikhaylivka — Donetsk.

On the Shakhtarsk front, the enemy carried out aerial strikes in the areas of Vuhledar, Prechystovka, and Velika Nova Sylka — Donetsk. Carried out shelling of populated areas of Vuhledar, Prechystovka, and Novoukrayinka.

On the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson fronts, the enemy continues to conduct defensive operations. Conducted aerial strikes in the areas of Robotino — Zaporizhzhia region and Berislav, Kozatskyi, Otradokamyanky — Kherson region. Carried out shelling of populated areas of Illinka, Velyka Novosylykha, Vremivka, Zelenoye Pole — Donetsk region; Malynivka, Hulyaypole, Zalizhchane, Hulyaipolske, Bihor’yia, Mala Tokmachka and Novoandriyivka — Zaporizhzhia region; Marhanets and Nikopol — Dnipropetrovsk region; Zmiyivka, Veseloye, Ivanivka, Ingulets, Sadove, Antonivka, Zelenivka, Dniprovske, Kizomys — Kherson region and the city of Kherson.

Russian occupiers continue to force the population on temporarily occupied territories in the Kherson region to obtain Russian passports. In particular, the Russian occupation administration has set September 1st as the final deadline for obtaining a passport of a citizen of the Russian Federation with an obligatory written refusal of Ukrainian citizenship. Local energy companies also report that new contracts for electricity supply can only be signed if one possesses a Russian passport.

All Ukrainian citizens who refuse to obtain Russian documents are threatened with the cessation of electricity supply, deportation, confiscation of property and forced eviction from their homes.

The aviation of the Defense Forces carried out nine strikes on areas of concentration of personnel and military equipment during the past day, as well as four — on enemy air defense missile systems.

Our defenders destroyed two enemy attack drones of the "Lancet" type and one reconnaissance drone of the "Orlan-10" type.

Units of rocket forces and artillery during the past day inflicted damage on one command post, one air defense missile system, five artillery units in firing positions, nine areas of concentration of weapons and military equipment of the enemy.
