On Saturday, May 20, the Ukraine FIFA team played matches in the knockout round of the playoff qualification for the FIFAe Nations Cup 2023.

This is the final stage of world ranking selection, with game series taking place in a 2vs2 format in the FIFA 23 simulator on PS5.

Oleksandr CIG Grishay Grishai and Andriy CIG ST92 Shakalov, representing Ukraine at these competitions, suffered defeat against France's team in the round of 16 upper bracket series with scores of 0:1 and 0:2.

Moving to the lower bracket, Ukrainians faced Finland's team but lost again in the next two matches — 0:1 and 1:2.

Thus, blue-and-yellow concluded their FIFAe Nations Cup 2023 playoff without securing one of the 11 spots for the world championship of electronic football among the top sixteen European teams.

The Ukrainian Association of Electronic Football thanks the FIFA team — for its most successful season in history — and everyone who supported the team until the end of the qualification campaign!
