This is the final stage of world ranking selection, with game series taking place in a 2vs2 format in FIFA 23 on the PS5 platform.

Oleksandr CIG Grishay Gryshai and Andriy CIG ST92 Shakalov, representing Ukraine at these competitions, started their game day with an unexpected victory over Italy's team, one of the favorites in the tournament — 3:2.

The two subsequent matches were lost by the Ukrainians: our esports football players could not withstand Israel's defense (0:2), and in the match against Norway's team, an equal game was decided by the first goal scored by their opponents (0:2).

Nevertheless, Ukraine's collective ended the first day with a decisive victory over Bulgaria's team — 6:0.

Thus, Ukraine's team finished the first playoff qualification stage in fourth place in group A with six points.

On May 19, matches of this tournament stage will take place. As a reminder, the top four teams from each group advance to the upper bracket, while the fifth and lowest-ranked team by point total will conclude their path for world ranking.
