To your attention — operational information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 06.00 15.05.2023 regarding the Russian invasion of our country.

Glory to Ukraine! The four hundred forty-sixth day of Russia's large-scale military aggression against our state has begun.

Last night, Russian terrorists attacked Ukraine with kamikaze drones Shahed. During the nighttime attack, four such UAVs were destroyed.

Over the past day, the enemy carried out 11 missile strikes, including on the cities of Kharkiv, Kostyantynivka and the village of Zolochiv. Additionally, they conducted 41 air raids and carried out 74 artillery attacks with multiple rocket launchers against our troops' positions and populated areas. Civilians were injured, private residential buildings and other civilian infrastructure were destroyed or damaged.

The likelihood of missile and air strikes on the entire territory of Ukraine remains high.

The enemy continues to concentrate its main efforts on the Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka, and Marinka axes — 46 combat engagements took place. The epicenter of combat operations remains Bakhmut and Marinka.

On the Volyn and Polissya fronts, the operational situation — no significant changes, signs of forming enemy offensive groupings have not been detected.

On the Northern and Slobidska fronts, the enemy continues to maintain a military presence in border areas with Ukraine. Conducted mortar and artillery shelling of the towns of Hryhorivka, Leonivka, Popivka in Chernihiv Oblast; Volkhynia, Sadki, Mogricha in Sumy Oblast, as well as Oleksandrivka and Starytsya in Kharkiv Oblast.

On the Kupiansk front, occupiers carried out unsuccessful offensive actions in the areas of Masutivka and Synikivka. Carried out air strikes in the vicinity of the towns of Vilschan and Kyslivka. Artillery and mortar shelling by the enemy was suffered by Kamianka, Topoli, Krassne Pereche, Figolivka, Novomlynskyi, Dvorichna, Zapadne, Kindrashivka, Tabaiivka in Kharkiv Oblast and Stelmakhivka in Luhansk Oblast.

On the Lyman front, the enemy did not conduct offensive actions. Carried out air strikes in the vicinity of the towns of Yampeil, Dibrova, Bihorivka, Verhnyokamyanske, Spirene. Artillery shelling was suffered by Makieyivka in Luhansk Oblast and Bihorivka, Verhnyokamianske, Spirene, Beresteve in Donetsk Oblast.

On the Bakhmut front, the enemy continues to conduct offensive actions. Heavy fighting for the city of Bakhmut is ongoing. Additionally, during the day, the enemy carried out unsuccessful offensive actions towards the towns of Hryhorivka, Bogdanivka and Predtechina. Carried out air strikes near Ivanivske and Stupochok. The villages of Hryhorivka, Bogdanivka, Bakhmut, Ivanivske, Chasiv Yar, Krasne, Konstantynivka, Druzhba, Pivnichne, Toretsk, Shumi in Donetsk Oblast suffered from enemy shelling.

On the Avdiivka front, the enemy carried out air strikes near Novokalynovo and Avdiivka. Conducted shelling of the villages Stepanovoe, Lastochkino, Avdiivka, Tonentse, Netaylove, Pervomaiske and Karlivka in Donetsk Oblast.

On the Marinka front, units of the Defense Forces repelled numerous enemy attacks near the town of Marinka. At the same time, villages Krasnogorivka, Georgiyivka, Pobeda and Novomikhailivka in Donetsk Oblast suffered from enemy shelling.

On the Shakhtarsk front, over the past day, the enemy did not conduct offensive actions. Conducted shelling of the villages Vuhledar, Nova Ukrayinka and Prechystivka.

On the Zaporizhzhya and Kherson fronts, the enemy continues to carry out defensive operations. Carried out air strikes near the towns Kizomys and Stanislav in Kherson Oblast. Conducted shelling of about 40 populated areas. This includes Vremivka, Novopil in Donetsk Oblast; Hulyaypole, Zaliznychnoe, Bihor'ya, Mala Tokmacha and Kamianske in Zaporizhzhya Oblast; Nikopol in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast; Zolota Balka, Veselo, L'vove, Antonivka, Dniprovske, Kizomys in Kherson Oblast and the city of Kherson.

The enemy continues to try to replenish losses in manpower through forced mobilization on temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine. Thus, in a number of populated areas in Kherson Oblast, there are cases of violent detention of men who previously renounced Ukrainian citizenship for Russian one. After detention, during the first interview with occupiers, they demand from such citizens an unreasonable monetary compensation for postponing mobilization. Persons who refuse to pay tribute or do not have the required amount of money are sent to field camps for accelerated general military training courses. After this, the specified individuals end up in populated areas bordering the front line.

The aviation of Ukraine's Defense Forces carried out 17 strikes on enemy personnel concentration and military equipment areas over the day. Also, our defenders shot down two enemy reconnaissance UAVs of the "Orlan-10" type and destroyed a Supercam UAV.

Units of rocket troops and artillery inflicted damage to one command post, six personnel concentration areas, four artillery units on firing positions, one air defense system and seven other important targets of the enemy.

Overall, our defenders liquidated 580 Russian occupiers, destroyed three tanks, eleven armored combat vehicles, twenty-one artillery systems, two air defense systems, twenty-four tactical-level UAVs, three cruise missiles, sixteen cars and three units of special equipment.
