UAF leaders honored the memory of heroes who liquidated the consequences of the Chernobyl disaster
In Kyiv, the traditional 31st Chernobyl Bell football tournament in memory of the victims of the Chernobyl nuclear disaster took place.

The 31st traditional football tournament "Chernobyl Bells," dedicated to the memory of those who perished in the Chernobyl nuclear disaster, took place in Kyiv. Teams born in 2012 participated in the event.
The games were held at the Desnyansky Central Stadium with the support of the public organization "Zdravobor," the Desnyansky District Health Center for All, Deputy Head of the Desnyansky District Council Dmitry Ratnikov, the Department of Youth Affairs and Sports of the Desnyansky District Council, the volunteer formation DFTH 31 of Kyiv's Desnyansky district, and the Ukrainian Football Association. Six teams took part: FC "Chernihiv," FC "Chernihiv-2," FC "Troieshchyna," FC "Troieshchyna-2," FC "Zazimye," and FC "Vigurivshchyna."

FC "Vigurivshchyna" emerged as the winner of the tournament, while all teams received cups, medals, balls, and sweet gifts from the leaders of the national association, first vice-presidents of UAF Vadym Kostyuchenko, Oleksiy Mykhaylichenko, and Oleg Protsasov.

"We remember our heroes who liquidated the consequences of the Chernobyl disaster, saving millions of Ukrainians and our entire country with their lives. Thanks to football and this tournament, we will honor these great people every year. I wish all young talents that each of you achieves your own big victory in your football life," said Vadym Kostyuchenko, who also conveyed greetings from the UAF president and UEFA Executive Committee member Andriy Pavelka.

"It is pleasant for me to see our children playing football despite all the difficulties that fell on their young age. I am grateful to parents and coaches who do everything so that our children have a full and rich childhood. Thanks to our Heroes of Ukraine, these children can enjoy their favorite game, and UAF helps them in this," said Oleksiy Mykhaylichenko.

After the football tournament, leaders of UAF, honored guests, and representatives of the teams laid flowers at the memorial complex "Heroes of Chernobyl."
