Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky addressed the nation, speaking about the continuous terror of Russian occupiers on our land and the strengthening of sanctions against the aggressor.

"Ukraine! Ukrainians! All our partners around the world!

Today, throughout the day, there was a clearance of rubble in the city of Kupyansk Kharkiv region after Russian shelling with S-300 missiles. On ordinary civilian buildings. A museum and nearby houses became targets for terrorists. Russia killed two women with this strike. My condolences to the families of those who died... Ten people were injured - they are receiving necessary assistance.

Overall, more than 60 museums and galleries in various regions of our country have been destroyed or damaged by the occupier.

Today alone, in Kherson region, a church was destroyed by Russian air strikes. In the village of Kizomys Bilozerska community. A right-wing Orthodox church. Hit with an air bomb. That is, Russian military knew exactly what they were destroying. This church became one of hundreds already shattered by Russian strikes.

Crimea... Today, occupiers broke into the home of Abdurezhit Dzheparov. He is one of the representatives of the Crimean Tatar national movement, a human rights defender, and a citizen of Ukraine. Where he is now, what happened to him - unknown. This is another example of Russian repression against the indigenous people of Crimea, against all our people. Thousands upon thousands such examples during the aggression in Crimea as well as in other regions occupied by Russia.

No one can feel safe anywhere until the aggressor is defeated. That's what every day in Ukraine proves. Everything that Russian troops and security services of the occupier do on our land against our people. And this is what they dream to bring to other peoples' lands as well. The whole world knows it.

The same way, the world knows: Russia can be stopped. This is a common interest. By stopping with the power of our soldiers on the front line. With our weapons - both Ukrainian and those we receive from partners. By the force of law, that is sanctions which require constant strengthening, as well as by our joint work for justice. Every act of Russian terror, every day of aggression - these are additional arguments that all this must end in a tribunal, in a new Nuremberg regarding racism, regarding those who destroy life and people, whose missiles - against museums, and air bombs - against churches.

Russia has to lose. There can be no other goal in the world. Because anything else is losing life, losing justice, losing the very world itself.

Today our international sanctions group, a team of experts led by Andriy Yermak and Michael McFaul presented a document on strengthening sanctions against Russia. The first sanction plan was implemented over 70%. So now they are presenting how to further strengthen the sanctions pressure and give more stability to the world through complete exclusion from global relations of all destructive Russian entities, all those who work for war.

This sanctions document will be on the desks of all key leaders in the world - both political, civil society, business. Sanctions against Russia's oil and gas sector, against the nuclear industry, against absolutely everyone helping Russia to circumvent already applied restrictions. This is a necessary self-defense for international law.

Today I held another meeting of the General Staff. Commanders, chiefs, intelligence, defense ministry. Reports on current combat operations at the front, our opportunities to actively move forward, and the formation of new units. We specifically talked today about 'Ramstein' and further communication with our partners.

I also held a meeting on Ukraine's economic recovery. Shmyhal, Svirydenko, Shurma, Kubrakov, Fedorov - our team for recovery. Presented the economic strategy of today and wartime period. It is already clear that the result of our victory will be Ukraine becoming a real security provider for all our partners, for everyone in the world who values international order based on rules. New security standards we are implementing in our lives: in infrastructure, energy, logistics and communications, social and educational spheres, in production - all this can be scaled up in other parts of the world.

Similarly, Ukrainian defense systems, our weapons, our people's experience gained in standing against Russian terror - all this will work for global peace so that no one in the world ever repeats Russian crimes.

Glory to every soldier of ours who is now at war, on combat posts, on combat missions! I would like to specifically honor today 80th Air Assault Brigade. Well done, boys! Thank you for your resolve in destroying the occupier in Bakhmut!

Glory to Ukraine!"
