President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky addressed the nation, speaking about the need for continued societal support for our soldiers on the front lines and about the combat situation at difficult fronts.

"I wish health to all dear Ukrainians!

Today I held another meeting of the General Staff. We primarily reviewed the combat situation. What is happening on the main fronts, on the difficult ones, such as Bakhmut and Avdiivka, in Donetsk overall, and Kremennaya and Luhansk.

We also discussed at the General Staff what still needs to be done. What we are working on.

There were reports from General Sirskyi, General Tarnavskiy, head of staff, GUR.

The General Staff and Minister of Internal Affairs reported on the formation of new units of our defense forces — new brigades.

Head of SBU General Maliuk made a report about his part — about internal resilience, protection from internal enemies and combating collaborators.

We are now at such a stage in the war that it is important for our society as well as partners not to lose sight of the path we must take. The path ahead.

Compared to last year, things are quieter in many places. But this does not mean that one can ignore the war somewhere or be less focused on helping the state.

We have managed to do a lot together with partners for protecting people, Ukraine and all of Europe. But this does not mean it is time to rest on laurels now. The path lies ahead. Movement lies ahead. We need no less unity than before, no less focus than before.

Just as before, our positions on the front lines, all our soldiers at their posts must be supported politically and informationally by Ukrainian society, with the strength of weapons and the strength of our societal unity, internal resilience and the strength of Ukraine's ties to the world. And this is a task for both the state and everyone within it, as well as those in the world who value free life and an international order based on rules.

It is unreasonable simply to passively hope that someone else will bring victory, the one in trenches now or storming now. This is a joint task. Victory is achieved by all. By those fighting for it and those providing weapons. By those curtailing the possibilities of a state-terrorist regime and those increasing Ukraine's capabilities.

Just as within the General Staff each person is responsible for their part in defending the state, on the path to victory everyone must understand: what are your steps towards victory? And do these steps suffice along the entire path?

Today I had a very interesting and meaningful meeting with American businessman and philanthropist Howard Buffett. He has long generously helped Ukraine and our people. Many projects are being implemented thanks to his support. For example, in Bucha, construction of a factory-kitchen began which will become part of the school meal reform in Ukraine and will feed children in three communities of Kyiv Oblast. This project will also be scaled up to other regions, including Kharkiv.

And when someone helps so much personally cares about support — these are generally projects worth hundreds of millions of dollars — such a person sees very well how important it is for everyone to be on the path to victory, how important it is for everyone to be active, how important it is for all of us to become heroes in some way so that we can win together.

I thank Mr. Buffett for his support. I thank all our partners around the world who do not slacken their efforts in assistance.

Thank you to all Ukrainians and Ukrainian women who understand that we must go this path together — towards victory and true unity, supporting each other and the state.
