The Ukrainian WU-19 women's national team will participate in the League A second round qualification matches of Euro 2023 in Denmark. The blue and yellow team will play in Group 5 alongside Denmark (hosts), Sweden, and Iceland.

The Ukrainian team arrived in Køge via Poland on March 31. Thanks to the support of the Danish Football Association, they conducted a short training camp there. Today's match against Sweden (kick-off at 15:30 Kyiv time) marks the start of their battles for qualification to the final stage of Euro 2023.

"I adhere more to the view that all participants have equal chances until the whistle blows. Therefore, I will prepare my players so that they demonstrate their best qualities in every match. And the minimum goal for the Ukrainian national team is to retain its place in the elite division," — said head coach of the Ukrainian WU-19 women's national team Valeriy Palamarchuk in an interview on the official website of the UAF.

Teams finishing fourth in their groups will start the 2023/2024 season in League B.

Teams in League B, including those that were relegated after the autumn stage of League A, compete across seven groups (three with four participants and four with three) for promotion to League A's first round of the next tournament.
