To your attention — operational information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 06.00 on April 3, 2023 regarding the Russian invasion of our country.

Glory to Ukraine! The fourth hundred and fourth day of Russia's large-scale military aggression against Ukraine has begun.

During the past day, the enemy carried out five missile strikes and 32 air raids, conducted over 50 artillery attacks with multiple rocket launchers.

The likelihood of missile and air strikes on the entire territory of Ukraine remains high, as the enemy continues to use a tactic of terror.

The enemy is concentrating its main efforts on conducting offensive actions on the Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka, and Marinka axes — more than 70 attacks by the enemy were repelled. The epicenter of combat operations remains Bakhmut, Avdiivka, and Marinka.

On the Volynian, Polesian, Northern, and Slobozhansky axes, the operational situation — no significant changes. During the day, the enemy shelled Volyne, Basyvka, Ryasne, and Mezhenivka in Sumy region, as well as Veterinarnoye, Gatishche, Velikiy Burluk, and Koldyzhne in Kharkiv region.

On the Kupyansk axis, enemy shelling affected Kamianka, Petro-Ivanivka, Dvorichna, Kutykivka, Zapadne, Masutivka, and Krokhmalne in Kharkiv region, as well as Novoselivske in Luhansk region.

On the Lyman axis, during the day the enemy conducted unsuccessful offensive actions in the areas of Bilohorivka and Verhnyokamyanske. Artillery shelling affected Nove, Bilohorivka in Luhansk region, and Toriske, Spirene, and Rozdolovka — Donetsk.

On the Bakhmut axis, the enemy does not stop attempting to storm Bakhmut, trying to take it under full control. Our soldiers repelled more than 20 enemy attacks. Also, our defenders repelled attacks by occupiers in the area of Ivanivske village. From enemy shelling suffered Vasyukivka, Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Novomarkove, Kostiantynivka, Hryhorivka, Bogdanivka, Bakhmut, Ivanivske, Chasiv Yar, Zalizne, and New York — Donetsk.

On the Avdiivka and Marinka axes, the enemy conducted offensive actions in the areas of Avdiivka, Pervomaisk, and Marinka, without success. During the past day, only near Marinka and Avdiivka Ukrainian soldiers repelled more than 15 enemy attacks. In addition, occupiers shelled Orlyvka, Tonentse, Severne, Netaylove, Krasnogorivka, and Georgiyivka — Donetsk.

On the Shakhtarsk axis, during the day the enemy carried out shelling of populated areas such as Pobeda, Novomikhaylivka, Vuhledar, Prechystivka, Velika Novosilka, Veremivka, and Neskuchnoye.

On the Zaporizhzhya and Kherson axes, the enemy did not conduct active operations, improving defensive lines and positions. Carried out shelling of more than 30 populated areas near the front line. Among them — Melitopol, Hulyaypole, Bilyhorod, Mala Tokmacha, Novoandriyivka, Kamianske in Zaporizhzhya region, as well as Zolota Balka, Tomaryne, Kozatske, Ivanivka, Zelenivka, Komishany, Bilozerska, and Kherson.

Russian occupiers continue to force the population of temporarily occupied territories in Zaporizhzhya region to obtain Russian passports. In particular, in Melitopol, occupiers are forcing teachers to write a statement renouncing Ukrainian citizenship by June 1st this year and receive Russian passports.

Ukrainian aviation carried out eight strikes on areas of enemy concentration during the day, while rocket units and artillery divisions hit one command post, three areas of troop concentration, three positions of air defense systems, and six other important targets of the enemy.
