The head coach of the England national team, Gareth Southgate, gave his comments after the Euro-2024 match against Ukraine, in which his team celebrated a victory with a score of 2:0.

"“I am very pleased with the game against Ukraine,” — quotes Southgate's website UEFA. — Against Italy, we played really well with the ball in the first half, but after halftime, we often lost it on equal terms. We were direct. But today everything was balanced. We pressed and I think our half-backs did a great job with that component. Sakho's goal? When he comes onto such positions, it is hard to contain him. This was a top-level goal.”
