To your attention — operational information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 06.00 on March 20, 2023 regarding the Russian invasion of our country.

Glory to Ukraine! The three hundred and ninetieth day of Russia's large-scale invasion has begun.

The Russian Federation continues offensive operations on the Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka, Marinka, and Shakhtarsk directions. During the past day, our forces repelled 69 attacks by the enemy on these fronts. The epicenter of combat actions remains Bakhmut.

During the past day, the Russian Federation continued to employ terror tactics against the civilian population of Ukraine. By shelling populated areas and critical infrastructure objects, the enemy completely ignores the laws and customs of war.

Russian occupiers carried out six missile strikes and 13 air raids, conducted 56 artillery attacks from multiple rocket launchers, including on civilian infrastructure in Donetsk and Zaporizhzhia regions. There are casualties among civilians, and damage to civilian infrastructure objects.

The likelihood of strikes across the entire territory of Ukraine remains high.

On the Volyn, Polesie, Sever, and Slobozhansky directions, the operational situation — no significant changes. On the republic's training grounds in Belarus, preparations for units of territorial defense forces of the Russian Federation are ongoing. During the day, the enemy shelled areas around the populated places of Khrynivka, Klyusi, Oleksandrivka and Kamianets-Sloboda in Chernihiv region; Sopich, Harkivka, Starikove, Volvino, Stepok in Sumy region, and Chervona Zoria, Strilecha, Glibokie, Krasne, Starytsia, Vovchanske, Kolodyazhne, Kamianka, Novomlynivske, Krasne Pereche, Dvoriche, Zapadne, and Kindrahsivka in Kharkiv region.

On the Kupyansk and Lyman directions, the enemy carried out unsuccessful offensive actions around populated places of Novoselivske, Kreminna, and Bihorivka. Conducted artillery shelling of areas around populated places of Vesele, Kupyansk, Khromnyane, Pishchane, Berehove in Kharkiv region, and Novoselivske, Nevske, Bihorivka, Severne, Spirene in Luhansk region.

On the Bakhmut direction, our defenders repelled enemy attacks around populated places of Bakhmut, Ivanivske, Bogdanivka, and Hryhorivka. Enemy shelling affected, among others, Vasyukivka, Orhiv-Vasylivka, Bakhmut, Hryhorivka, Ivanivske, Kostyantynivka, Mayoriv, Zalizne, and New York in Donetsk region.

On the Avdiivka, Marinka, and Shakhtarsk directions, the enemy carried out unsuccessful offensive actions around Kamianka, Avdiivka, Severnyi, Vodyane, Berdychi, and Marinka. Enemy shelling affected Kamianka, Avdiivka, Berdychi, Orlivka, Tonennye, Severne, Pervomaiske, Nevelske, Victorya, Novomykhailivka, Krasnogorivka, Georgiyivka, Marinka, Vuhledar, Velika Novosilka, and Neskyuchne.

On the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson directions, the enemy is defending. Shelling affected areas around 27 populated places, including Olhivske, Charivne, Novodanylivka, and Orhyv in Zaporizhzhia region, as well as Tamaryne, Odradokamianka, Tyagynka, Novotyagynka, Poniutovka, Sadove, Rozliv, and the city of Kherson.

In Kherson region, Russian occupiers threaten local residents with punitive measures for lack of a Russian passport. Specifically, at checkpoints on temporarily occupied territory in Kherson region, occupiers threaten locals with illegal deprivation of freedom and violent acts during the next document check if they do not have Russian passports.

During the past day, aviation of the Ukrainian Armed Forces inflicted damage to three S-300V1-2 air defense missile complexes, seven strikes — on areas with enemy personnel concentration and destroyed an ammunition depot of the enemy.

At the same time, our defenders destroyed a Russian combat drone of the "Zala" type.

Subunits of rocket forces and artillery inflicted damage to a Russian Tor air defense missile complex, three areas with enemy personnel concentration and military equipment, and three electronic warfare systems of occupiers.
