Note for your attention — operational information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 06.00 on March 4, 2023 regarding the Russian invasion of our country.

Glory to Ukraine! The three hundred seventy-fourth day of Russia's large-scale aggression has begun.

During the past day, the Russian Federation carried out 32 air strikes and six missile attacks, conducted 84 artillery barrages from multiple rocket launchers, including on civilian infrastructure.

The threat of enemy missile strikes remains significant across all of Ukraine's territory.

The enemy is concentrating its main efforts on conducting offensive operations on the Kupyansk, Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka and Shakhtarsk directions. During the past day, our defenders repelled over 150 attacks by the enemy in these areas.

On the Volynian, Polesian, Northern and Slobodian fronts, the operational situation — no significant changes, no offensive groupings of the enemy were detected. During the past day, the enemy shelled populated areas in Medvedivka, Chernihiv region; Sobky, Bachivsk, Ulanove, Kucherivka, Bilkopitove, Starikove, Khodine, Rizhivka, Atinskye, Pavlivka and Ryashne in the Sumy region as well as areas around about 10 populated places in the Kharkiv region, including Strilecha, Starytsia, Vovchansk, Budarky and Ambarnye.

On the Kupyansk and Lyman fronts, the enemy unsuccessfully conducted offensive operations near the populated areas of Krymynna and Bilohorivka in Luhansk region and Spirene and Veselye — Donetsk. Conducted artillery shelling of areas around populated places, including Dvorichna, Kupyansk, Khromalne in Kharkiv region; Makieyevka, Nevskoje, Krymynna, Dybrova, Bilohorivka in Luhansk region and Kolodyazhnye, Severnyye, Rozdolovka in Donetsk.

On the Bakhmut front, the enemy does not give up attempts to encircle the city of Bakhmut. During the past day, our soldiers repelled numerous attacks near populated places Vasukivka, Dubovo-Vasilivka, Bogdanivka, Bakhmut and Ivanivske in Donetsk region. Enemy shelling was experienced, including Fedorivka, Vasukivka, Zaliznyanske, Orikhovo-Vasilivka, Dubovo-Vasilivka, Bakhmut, Ivanivske, Stupochki, Predtechina, Klyshchyovka, Kurdyumivka, Ozaryanivka, Dilievka, Toretsk, Mayoriv and Pivnichne.

On the Avdiivka and Shakhtarsk fronts, the enemy unsuccessfully attacked positions of our troops near populated places Novokalynove, Krasnyhorivka, Kamianka, Avdiivka, Severne, Vodyane, Nevelskoje, Mariinka and Pobeda. Conducted artillery and mortar shelling in areas around almost 30 populated places. Among them — Veselye, Berdychi, Avdiivka, Pobeda, Novomikhailovka, Vodyane, Ugledar, Bogoyavlenskaya and Velika Novosilka Donetsk region.

On the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson fronts, the enemy is conducting defense. On some sections it attempts to improve tactical positions, create conditions for resuming an offensive. Conducted artillery shelling in areas around more than 25 populated places, including Vremivky, Novosilky, Zeleno Pole Donetsk region and Hulyaypole, Zaliznychny, Hulyaypoliske, Charyvne and Kamianske Zaporizhzhia region; Ochakiv in Mykolaiv region and Berislav, Tomarino, Kozatske, Bilyzereka, Dniprovskoje and Kherson.

In Simferopol temporarily occupied Crimea, the Russian occupation authorities, fearing an activation of pro-Ukrainian movement, actions by patriotically oriented centers, are creating so-called «volunteer battalions». It is known that due to the war in Ukraine there is a certain shortage of law enforcement personnel, therefore, besides patrolling the city, one of the tasks of these units should be the detection of correctors and saboteurs.

Continuing military aggression, the Russian occupation army suffers significant losses in manpower daily. Earlier we reported on overcrowded medical facilities in temporarily occupied settlements of Donetsk region. The trend has not disappeared — recently one of the clinics in Gorlovka city received instructions to increase the number of beds for receiving wounded occupiers.

Ukrainian aviation carried out 14 strikes on areas with enemy personnel and military equipment concentrations, as well as two — on anti-aircraft missile complexes at firing positions. Also our defenders shot down an enemy Su-34 aircraft and eight reconnaissance and strike UAVs of various types.

Rocket units and artillery divisions in turn inflicted damage to a command post, three areas with enemy concentrations, ammunition depots, two PMM warehouses, as well as the enemy's radio-electronic warfare station.
