To your attention — operational information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 06.00 on February 28, 2023 regarding the Russian invasion of our country.

Glory to Ukraine! The three hundred and seventy day of Russia's large-scale invasion has begun.

The Russian Federation is concentrating its main efforts on conducting offensive operations along the Kupyansk, Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka, and Severodonetsk axes. During the past day, our soldiers repelled over 60 attacks by the enemy in these directions.

At the same time, the enemy carried out eight missile strikes and thirty-two air raids. Conducted eighty-five artillery shelling with multiple rocket launchers. The threat of further missile strikes remains significant across all of Ukraine's territory.

On the Volyn, Polesie, North, and Slobozhansky axes formations for enemy offensive operations have not been detected. Occupants shelled populated areas in Timonovychi and Berylivka of Chernihiv Oblast; Starikove, Bruski, Bukhavlyne, Kryukok, Manuhyvka, Atynske, Porozok of Sumy Oblast, as well as Chervona Zorya, Veterinarnoe, Strilecha, Gatyshe, Vovchansky and Vovchansky Hutori in Kharkiv Oblast.

On the Kupyansk and Lyman axes the enemy conducted unsuccessful offensive operations near populated areas of Mykulyivka, Ploschan'ka, Kreminna, Dybrova, and Bihorivka in Luhansk Oblast. Conducted artillery shelling on areas around Dvorichne, Lyman First, Grynykyvka, Kurylivka, Kislyvka, Tabayivka of Kharkiv Oblast; Novoselyvske, Nevyske, Chervonopopivka and Dybrova — Luhansk and Spirene and Rozdolyvka in Donetsk Oblast.

On the Bakhmut axis defensive forces repelled enemy attacks near populated areas of Vasyukyvka, Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Berhyvka, Yagydne and Bakhmut in Donetsk Oblast. Enemy shelling affected Zaliznyanske, Dubovo-Vasylivka, Berhyvka, Bakhmut, Ivanivske, Stupochky, Kostyantynivka, Klyshchyivka, Zalizne, Ozaryanyvka, Mayor'sk, Pivdenne and New York.

On the Avdiivka and Severodonetsk axes the enemy continues to attack our positions, conducting several unsuccessful offensives towards Kamianka, Krasnogorivka and Mariinka in Donetsk Oblast. Conducted artillery and mortar shelling on areas around Avdiyivka, Lastochkine, Netaylove, Vodyane, Pervomayske, Krasnogorivka, Nevelske, Mariinka, Bogoyavlenska, Novomykhailivka, Velika Novosilka, Neskucho and Vuhledar.

On the Zaporizhzhia axis areas around more than twenty populated areas suffered artillery fire. Among them — Veremivka and Novopil in Donetsk Oblast;  Komishyuvaha, Olgivske, Maliynivka, Hulyaypole, Zaliznytsne, Charivne, Orikhiv and Novoandriyivka in Zaporizhzhia Oblast.

On the Kherson axis twenty-five populated areas of Kherson Oblast suffered artillery fire from Russian occupying forces. Among them — Hryhorivka, Kachkarivka, Veselye, Tyagynka, Inzhenerne, Antonivka, Berehove and Kherson.

The enemy restricts the movement of civilian population in temporarily occupied territory of Kherson Oblast. Specifically, entry into populated area Promynt is allowed only to residents with local registration and a special permit.

During the past day, units of the Defense Forces destroyed eleven Iranian combat drones of the Shahed-136 type and one — of the Zalaa type.

Our aviation inflicted four strikes on areas where occupiers are concentrated. And subunits of rocket forces and artillery hit one command point, two areas with enemy troops concentration and two anti-aircraft defense positions.
