President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky addressed the nation, announcing new heads for the Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, and Kherson regional administrations and updating on our charitable platform United24.

I report today - another day of our defense.

First. The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, at my proposal, approved the new head of the Security Service of Ukraine. I consider this path to appointment a signal for all state officials and employees of our law enforcement agencies.

Vasyl Maliuk has been acting as the head of service for some time. He has passed the test of war. He proved his effectiveness. He was appointed.

I thank the people's deputies of Ukraine for their positive vote on Igor Klimenko's candidacy for the post of Minister of Internal Affairs. It is important that the MVS system, which is part of our overall defense and security system, quickly received a leader who has walked alongside all lines of defense since the beginning of the full-scale invasion.

Now we have people who have gained experience in such a war. They have clear results in their work for the state that is fighting for its people and independence. There should be more such people in positions at various levels in central and local government bodies.

The relevant appointments were approved by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine. Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, and Kherson regional administrations will be headed by experts who have experience in real state defense right now.

I met today with the German Minister of Defense, who arrived in Kyiv. The topic of conversation is obvious. We are doing everything for the cleanliness of our skies, so that our soldiers have powerful tanks and so that our artillery does not yield to the occupier. I thank Germany and all partners for the appropriate support.

Today, as usual, held several meetings with military personnel and a meeting with the head of intelligence. We are maintaining maximum attention on what the occupiers are preparing. And what our soldiers need to effectively resist. On all fronts.

Donetsk and the east, where it is hottest - I mention them every day in such addresses.

The south sounds less often, although the strategic importance of these directions is no less.

And we are strengthening our state along the entire perimeter.

And today I want to highlight fighters on two fronts. Our border guards fighting in Donbas. For daily bravery and steadfastness in battle. For results. Lugansk and Kharkiv Border Detachments - thank you, boys!

Thank you to all our defenders and defenders who are ensuring the security of northern Ukraine! Sumy, Chernihiv, Kyiv, Zhytomyr region, Volyn. The Operational-Strategic Group "North".

Each direction is important. All enemy scenarios are being worked out. We are defending our state.

Today I met with ambassadors of our charitable platform United24 - our athlete Elena Svitlychny and French director Michel Hazanavicius.

Michel has joined the ambassadors and will help us with reconstruction.

This is our first voice of United24 in France, and I believe it will be a strong one.

I was glad to hear that our state charitable platform has already managed to accumulate almost 300 million dollars from ordinary people and companies from over a hundred countries around the world.

Spoke with President of Turkey Erdogan. Expressed sympathy. Told about our steps to help the Turkish people, to get through this difficult trial.

Ukrainian rescuers have already departed for Turkey to strengthen rescue operations after earthquakes. I hope it will be possible to save as many lives as possible.
