Glory to Ukraine! The third hundred and thirty-fifth day of Russia's large-scale invasion is ongoing.
The occupiers carried out four missile strikes on populated areas (two missiles were destroyed by our air defense systems) and 18 aviation attacks during the day. Also, the enemy conducted 24 artillery strikes with multiple rocket launchers.
The threat of Russian aerial and missile strikes remains across all of Ukraine.
The enemy continues to advance on the Bakhmut and Avdiivka axes in an attempt to capture all of Donetsk Oblast, despite significant losses from their side. On the Kupyansk axis, they carried out unsuccessful offensive actions; all attacks by the enemy were repelled.
On the Lyman, Novopavlovsk, Zaporizhzhia and Kherson axes, the occupiers are defending.
On the Volyn, Polesie, Sever, and Slobozhansky axes, there have been no significant changes in the situation; enemy offensive groups have not been detected. At the same time, areas of populated places such as Novovasylivka, Boyaro-Lyachy, Stukalivka in Sumy Oblast and Hryhoriiv Kozatsk, Slobozhanske, Zeleno, Ternevo, Staritsa, Vovchansky, Zemlyanka, Kamianka, and Krasnoe Pereche in Kharkiv Oblast were shelled.
On the Kupyansk axis, the enemy shelled areas of populated places such as Dvorichna, Grynykivka, Kupyansk, Kyslivka, Krokhmalne and Berestove in Kharkiv Oblast, as well as Novoselyvsk and Steblyakhivka in Luhansk Oblast.
On the Lyman axis, areas of Makieyivka, Ploschanki, Krymna, Dibrova, and Kuzminoye in Luhansk Oblast were affected by artillery fire.
On the Bakhmut axis, Spirene, Viymukha, Berestove, Bilohorivka, Vesele, Krasna Gora, Bakhmut, Klyschyvka, Kurdyumivka, Mayor'sk and New York were shelled.
On the Avdiivka axis, Berdychi, Avdiivka, Vodyane, Krasnogorivka, Mariinka, and Novomykhailivka in Donetsk Oblast came under enemy fire.
On the Novopavlivka axis, Mikilske, Vuhledar, Prechystyvka, Nesukhne, and Velika Novosilka in Donets'k were shelled.
On the Zaporizhzhia axis, Komishuvakhha in Donetsk was affected by artillery fire, as well as Chervone, Hulyaypole, Charivne, Novodanylivka and Orikhiv in Zaporizhzhia Oblast.
On the Kherson axis, occupiers daily shell civilian population. Yesterday's artillery impact from MLRS affected Antonivka and Kherson.
Russian occupiers continue to die dishonorably in Ukraine. During January 20-21, the enemy conducted offensive actions on the Zaporizhzhia axis near Malishyvky. According to updated data, as a result of combat engagement with units of the Defense Forces, losses of the aggressors during this period amounted to over 50 people, 16 of them irretrievably lost. In addition, nine units of armaments and military equipment of various types (including one tank, six BMPs and BTR-82A armored vehicles) were destroyed. Four more units were damaged.
Since the beginning of January this year, the number of wounded enemy servicemen in temporarily occupied parts of Kherson Oblast has significantly increased. Local hospitals are overcrowded. All serious injuries are concentrated at medical facilities in the region. Only a small number are sent to temporarily occupied Crimea for further treatment.
In several populated places in the Severodonetsk district of Luhansk Oblast, Russian occupiers are trying in every way to isolate local residents information-wise; Ukrainian television and mobile communications are unavailable.
The aviation of the Defense Forces carried out five strikes on areas where enemy forces were concentrated during the day.
Our defenders also shot down two enemy Su-25 aircraft, a Ka-52 helicopter, an unmanned aerial vehicle "Orlan-10" and two guided air-to-surface missiles Kh-59.
Subunits of rocket troops and artillery of the Armed Forces of Ukraine simultaneously struck three areas where occupiers were concentrated and an enemy logistics facility.
Believe in the Armed Forces of Ukraine! Together we will win!
