UAF arbitrator and military medic Dmitro Kubryak has been appointed as the deputy head of the UAF's arbitration support department. The association president, UEFA Executive Committee member Andriy Pyvovarov, announced this at a meeting with Dmitro.
"I am confident that for the team led by Luciano Lucci and Nicola Rizzoli, this staffing decision will not only strengthen their professional capabilities but also serve as an inspiring example. As we all admire the bravery of our referee Dmitro, who, in addition to being a military medic, volunteered to go to occupied Mariupol in March last year to help save wounded soldiers and was later captured by Russian forces before being released in September and returning to our team," — noted Andriy Pyvovarov.
