To your attention — operational information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 06.00 on December 31, 2022 regarding the Russian invasion of our country.

Glory to Ukraine! The three hundred and eleventh day of the Russian large-scale invasion has begun.

During the past day, the enemy carried out five missile strikes and 29 air raids. Twenty-six of these air attacks targeted civilian infrastructure. In particular, the occupiers used ten "Shahed-136" drones, but all were shot down. Additionally, the enemy conducted 80 artillery strikes with multiple rocket launchers, affecting several peaceful settlements.

There is a risk of continued aerial and missile attacks across Ukraine's territory.

The enemy continues to conduct offensive actions on the Lyman and Bakhmut axes and attempts to improve its tactical position on the Kupyansk and Avdiivka axes.

During the past day, our soldiers repelled attacks by occupiers in the areas of Stepanahivka, Nevske, Chervonopopivka, and Bihorivka in Luhansk Oblast, as well as Solladyar, Bihorivka, Bakhmutskoye, Podgordyne, Bakhmut, Klichyivka, New York, Krasnogorivka, Kamianka, Avdiivka, and Mariinka in Donetsk Oblast.

On the Volynskyi, Poleskyi, Severnyi, and Slobozhanskyi axes, the situation remains stable; no formations for offensive operations by the enemy have been detected.

On the Severnyi and Slobozhanskyi axes, artillery and mortar shelling affected areas of Orlykivka, Semenivka, Zaliznyy Most, Budavorobyvskaya in Chernihiv Oblast; Khodine, Atinskye, Zapsillya, Velyka Ripytsia, Pokrovka, Ryasne, Popivka on the Sumy region, as well as Glibokoye, Morohovec, Zelenye, Terneva, Staritsa, Gatyshechya, Vochnanskyi, Bochkove, Nesterne, Vilkhuvatka, Chugunivka and Zarubinka in Kharkiv Oblast.

On the Kupyansk axis, areas of Kamianka, Novomlynsk, Dvorichna, Vilshana, Kupyansk, Orlyanka, Kurilivka, Kotliarivka and Tabayivka in Kharkiv Oblast as well as Novoselyvskyi and Stepanahivka — Luhansk were shelled.

On the Lyman axis, areas of Plyshanka, Nevske and Divrova in Luhansk Oblast, as well as Chervonopopivka, Yamolivka and Torske on Donetsk were affected by enemy fire.

On the Bakhmut axis, the enemy conducted tank, mortar, cannon and rocket artillery strikes in areas of Spirene, Berestove, Bihorivka, Solladyar, Bakhmutskoye, Podgordyne, Yagydnye, Bakhmut, Kostyantynivka, Klichyivka, Andriyivka, Bila Hora, Kurdyumivka, Dilievka, Druzhba, Zalizne, Mayorshk and New York in Donetsk Oblast.

On the Avdiivka axis, areas of Veselye, Avdiivka, Nevelskoie, Krasnogorivka, Georgiyivka, Mariinka and Novomikhaylivka were affected by enemy fire.

On the Novopavlovskyi axis, the enemy shelled Vuhledar, Prechystyvka, Zolota Niva, Velyka Novosilka and Veremivka in Donetsk Oblast.

On the Zaporizhzhya axis, enemy fire was recorded in areas of Temirivka, Poltavka, Hulyaypole, Dorozhnyanka, Mala Tokmachka, Novodanylivka, Novoandriyivka, Mali Shcherbaky, Stepeve, Kamianske and Stepnogorsk on Zaporizhzhya as well as Nikopol and Primysche in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast.

On the Kherson axis, the enemy continues mortar and artillery shelling of settlements along the right bank of the Dnipro River. In particular, civilian infrastructure in Kachkarivka, Naddnipryanske, Antonivka and Kherson was affected.

According to available information, in military commissariats on temporarily occupied territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea lists of individuals subject to mobilization in January 2023 have been compiled.

The enemy continues to suffer losses. Confirmed fire strikes against the occupiers on December 29 this year. Thus, near Fedorivka village in Kakhovskiy district of Kherson Oblast, about 200 mercenaries were liquidated; information regarding wounded is being clarified. Additionally, near Polohy and Velyka Bilyzherka in Zaporizhzhya Oblast, the enemy's losses amounted to 115 servicemen injured, five units of military equipment destroyed, a surface-to-air missile system and an ammunition depot.

The Air Force of the Defense Forces carried out ten strikes against areas of enemy concentration as well as three — on positions of air defense systems.

An enemy reconnaissance drone of the "Orlan-10" type was shot down.

Divisions of missile troops and artillery of the Defense Forces inflicted damage to a command post, seven areas of enemy concentration with manpower and military equipment, five ammunition depots, as well as two radar stations of mercenaries.
