"Wishing health to all Ukrainians!
First and foremost, I want to thank our air force fighters, the Ukrainian Air Force, which successfully repelled another Russian attack today.
Fifty-four rockets and eleven strike drones were shot down.
Our soldiers distinguished themselves across Ukraine, and I thank all of our air command: "Center," "South," "East," and "West."
Especially we are grateful to the soldiers of the 96th Kyiv ZRK Brigade, the 160th Odesa ZRK Brigade, and the 208th Kherson ZRK Brigade, whose results were the greatest today.
Unfortunately, there have been several hits. Our energy workers and repair teams worked all day to minimize the impact of the terrorist attack on Ukrainians. And I thank everyone who is working to restore power supply.
As of this evening, electricity outages are in most regions of Ukraine. Particularly difficult situations exist in Kyiv region and the capital city, Lviv region, Odesa and its region, Kherson and its region, Vinnytsia and Zakarpattia.
But this is nothing compared to what could have been if not for our heroic air defense soldiers and Air Force.
With each such missile strike, Russia only digs itself deeper into a corner. They are running out of missiles. Instead, the status of the world's greatest terrorist will continue to have consequences for Russia and its citizens. And every missile only reinforces that this will end in a tribunal. That is exactly how it will be.
Despite all daily attacks, the state continues to function. The office, Cabinet — everyone works.
In particular, I had two major meetings today, economic and defense. We are working so that our defenders have more opportunities, more weapons, more drones.
The situation on the front line over the day — no significant changes.
Most acutely — Bakhmut, Soledar, all the line in Donetsk. The enemy has not given up its insane idea of seizing Donetsk. Now they set themselves a task — by New Year's.
I thank all our boys who for months have been proving to occupiers that it is we who will set and achieve goals on our land.
Thank you to everyone defending the Ukrainian Donbas! To everyone defending our Kharkiv region! To everyone holding our south! Who defends our border!
And, by the way, I thank those border guards who together with all defense forces are fighting the enemy on the front. I thank the fighters of the Bilhorod-Dnistrovs'kyi and Mukacheve Border Detachments.
Dear Ukrainians!
Two days left in this year. Perhaps, the enemy will try once again to make us greet New Year in darkness. Perhaps, occupiers plan new strikes on our cities to make us suffer.
But whatever they may have planned, we know one thing about ourselves: We will stand firm. Absolutely. We will wear them down. Without a doubt. And they will not escape maximum punishment for this terrible war.
I thank everyone who is defending our state! I thank everyone fighting for our independence!
Glory to Ukraine!"
