To your attention — operational information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 06.00 on December 20, 2022 regarding the Russian invasion of our country.

Glory to Ukraine! The three hundredth day of the Russian large-scale invasion has begun.

The enemy continues to concentrate efforts on conducting offensive operations on the Bakhmut and Avdiivka axes. Attempts to restore lost positions in the Lyman direction and defense on other axes are ongoing.

Over the past day, units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled attacks by occupiers in the areas of Steblihivka, Chervonopopivka, and Seredynske in Luhansk Oblast, as well as Verkhnyokamyanske, Podgordine, Bakhmut, Opitne, Kurdyumivka, Krasnogorivka, and Mariinka in Donetsk Oblast.

During the day, the enemy inflicted four rocket and 60 air strikes, as well as carried out more than 80 shelling with multiple launch rocket systems. As a result of these attacks, civilian infrastructure and population suffered.

The threat of the enemy carrying out aviation and missile strikes on critical infrastructure remains across all of Ukraine's territory.

On the Volyn and Polesie directions, the situation remains unchanged, no signs of forming offensive groups by occupiers have been detected. Defined units of Belarusian and Russian Federation armed forces continue to be in border areas with Ukraine.

On the Northern direction, mine artillery shelling was experienced by the populated areas of Timonovychi, Karpowichy, and Kostobobyv in Chernihiv Oblast, as well as Novovasylivka, Kindratiivka, Vodolagi, Zapyslyia, and Yizdeckie on Sumy.

On the Slobozhansky direction, the enemy carried out mine artillery and artillery shelling of our troops' positions in the areas of Strilecha, Hlibokye, Staritsya, Volchansk, Volochkivka, Chugunivka, and Dvoriche in Kharkiv Oblast.

On the Kupyansky and Lyman directions, the enemy carried out shelling with tanks, mine artillery, field and multiple launch rocket systems on the areas of Kotliarivka, Krokhmalne, Bereste in Kharkiv Oblast, as well as Novoselyvsk, Steblihivka, Makiyivka, Ploschanka, Chervonopopivka, Dybrova in Luhansk Oblast.

On the Bakhmut and Avdiivka directions, the enemy continues to conduct storming operations, carrying out shelling with tanks, mine artillery, field and multiple launch rocket systems on our positions in the areas of 30 populated places. Among them are Verkhnyokamyanske, Bereste, Yakovlivka, Solorad, Hryhorivka, Bakhmutse, Bakhmut, Chasiv Yar, Klyshchivka, Andriyivka, Kurdyumivka, Avdiivka, Krasnogorivka, Mariinka, and Novomikhailivka in Donetsk Oblast.

On the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson directions, the enemy continues artillery shelling of our troops' positions and civilian infrastructure along the right bank of the Dnipro River. The affected areas include Temirovka, Chervone, Mali Shcherbaky, and Plyvni in Zaporizhzhia Oblast, as well as Chornobaivka, Antonivka, Kherson, Mikilske, Tokaryvka, and Mylove on the Khersonshchyna.

The enemy continues to suffer losses; confirmed damage to an enemy permanent deployment point on December 18 of this year in the area of Chaplynka in Kherson Oblast. Information about killed and wounded occupiers is being verified.

Ukrainian aviation inflicted 16 strikes on areas of concentration of personnel, weapons, and military equipment, as well as six strikes on enemy air defense positions. By the forces of anti-aircraft defense yesterday, two enemy helicopters were shot down.

Units of rocket troops and artillery of the Ukrainian Defense Forces damaged ammunition depots, three command posts, and three areas of concentration of enemy manpower.
