To your attention — operational information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 06.00 on December 15, 2022 regarding the Russian invasion of our country.

Glory to Ukraine! The two hundred ninety-fifth day of Russia's large-scale invasion has begun.

The enemy continues to concentrate efforts on conducting offensive operations on the Bakhmut and Avdiivka axes. Attempts to improve tactical positions on the Kupyansk, Lyman, and Zaporizhzhia axes are ongoing. On other axes, the enemy is trying to restrain the actions of units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.

Over the past day, our soldiers repelled attacks by Russian occupiers in the areas of Verkhnyokamyanske, Yakovlivka, Siversk, Bakhmut, Vesela, and Mariinka in Donetsk Oblast.

The enemy carried out 31 air strikes and eight missile strikes on civilian infrastructure in Donetsk Oblast, as well as conducted 61 shelling with multiple rocket launchers.

There remains a threat of occupiers carrying out air and missile strikes against objects of civilian infrastructure throughout the territory of Ukraine.

On the Volyn and Polesie axes, the situation has not changed significantly, no signs of enemy offensive formations being formed have been detected.

On the Northern axis, the enemy carried out fire strikes on the areas of Lypove and Khrynyvka in Chernihiv Oblast.

On the Kupyansk axis, positions of our troops were shelled in the areas of Chervona Zorya, Krassne, Starytsia, Dvorichna, and Novomlynivsk in Kharkiv Oblast.

On the Lyman axis, the enemy carried out tank shelling, mortar fire, artillery strikes with howitzers and multiple rocket launchers on the areas of Makieyevka, Ploschanka, and Chervonopopivka in Luhansk Oblast and Yamopolivka, Torske, and Vedmerezh in Donetsk Oblast.

On the Bakhmut axis, areas of 17 populated places were shelled. Among them — Verkhnyokamyanske, Spirene, Bilohorivka, Yakovlivka, Siversk, Hryhorivka, Bakhmut, Ozaryanivka, Pivnichne and Opitne in Donetsk Oblast. Also, the enemy carried out an air strike near the city of Bakhmut.

On the Avdiivka axis, fire strikes hit positions of our troops in the areas of Avdiivka, Water Supply, Nevelske, Krasnogorivka, Georgiyivka and Mariinka. An enemy air strike was recorded near the latter.

On the Novopavlivka axis, occupiers fired at Vuhledar, Prechystyvtsi, and Neskyuchne in Donetsk Oblast. An aerial strike was carried out in the area of the city of Vuhledar.

On the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson axes, the enemy continues to shell positions of our troops and civilian infrastructure along the right bank of the Dnipro River. Damage was sustained by areas of 19 populated places. Among them, Vremivka and Novopil in Donetsk Oblast; Hulyaypole, Orikhiv, Mala Tokmachka in Zaporizhzhia; Novovorontsovka, Osokoryvka, Novotyagynka, Tokaryvka, Yantarnoye in Kherson Oblast and the city of Kherson.

According to available information, occupiers have replaced dacha plots and riverbanks of the Konka and Chayka rivers within the Oleshkivska City Territorial Community of Kherson Oblast.

The enemy forcibly evacuated civilians who lived on the island of Velikiy Potyomkinsky near Kherson to territory temporarily controlled by Russian occupiers.

The occupation administration is conducting work related to switching the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant to the energy system of the Russian Federation.

Ukrainian aviation carried out 13 strikes on areas of concentration of personnel, weapons and military equipment and five strikes on enemy air defense positions over the past day.

Units of rocket forces and artillery of the Ukrainian Defense Forces hit two command points, eight areas of concentration of enemy personnel and a storage facility for propellant materials.
