Note to your attention — operational information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 06.00 on December 12, 2022 regarding the Russian invasion of our country.

Glory to Ukraine! The two hundred and ninety-second day of the Russian large-scale invasion has begun.

Over the past day, units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled attacks by the occupiers in the areas of Stelmakhivka, Makieyivka, and Serebryansky Forest District of Luhansk Oblast as well as Verkhnyokamyanske, Bihorivka, Soledar, Yuryivka, Krasnogorivka, Mariinka, Novomykhailivka, and Vremyvka of Donetsk Oblast.

In addition, the enemy carried out two rocket strikes on the civilian infrastructure of the city of Kostiantynivka in Donetsk Oblast, 11 air raids on our troops' positions along the line of contact, and over 60 artillery attacks with multiple launch rocket systems on the civilian infrastructure of the city of Kherson and our troops' positions.

There remains a threat of strikes using rockets and attack drones against objects of the energy system and critical infrastructure throughout Ukraine's territory.

On the Volynian and Polesian Directions there have been no significant changes in the situation, signs of enemy offensive groupings forming have not been detected.

On the Northern and Slobozhansky Directions artillery shelling was experienced by populated areas of Strilecha, Starytsia, Horgivske, Gatyshche, Volohivka, Khrymivka, Dvorichna, Kamianka in Kharkiv Oblast and Ivanivske in Donetsk.

On the Kupyansk and Lyman Directions the enemy carried out shelling of 16 populated areas. Among them are Kislivka, Kotliarivka, Tabayivka, and Berestove in Kharkiv Oblast; Novoselyvskoye, Stelmakhivka, Pishchane, Makieyivka, and Plyshanka in Luhansk Oblast, as well as Chervonopopivka, Terny, Yamopolivka, and Toriske in Donetsk.

On the Bakhmut and Avdiivka Directions the enemy carried out shelling of Ukrainian Defense Forces positions with tanks, mortars, artillery in 24 populated areas. This includes Verkhnyokamyanske, Bihorivka, Soledar, Bakhmut, Druzhba, Zalizne, New York, Avdiivka, Opitne, Nevelske, Krasnogorivka, and Mariinka in Donetsk Oblast. The occupiers carried out strikes with operational-tactical and army aviation in the areas of Spirne and Bihorivka.

On the Novopavlivsky Direction enemy fire activity was recorded near Novoukrayinka, Prechystyvka, and Vuhledar in Donetsk Oblast.

On the Zaporizhzhya Direction the enemy shelled populated areas of Vremyvka in Donetsk Oblast as well as Zelenoye Pole, Novopil, Novodaryivka, Maliynivka, Hulyaypole, Dorozhnyanka, Hulyaypilske, Charyvne, and Mali Shcherbaky in Zaporizhzhya Oblast.

On the Kherson Direction strikes were carried out on Chernyiy Mayak, Lvov, Inzhenernoye, Chornobaivka, and the city of Kherson.

Violating international humanitarian law, the enemy continues to use peaceful civilians as a human shield. In the village of Troitske temporarily occupied by Russian forces in Luhansk Oblast, occupiers are deploying military equipment and setting up firing positions near residential buildings where civilian population lives.

The aviation of the Ukrainian Defense Forces carried out 14 strikes on areas with enemy personnel concentration, weapons, and military equipment as well as a strike against the enemy's anti-aircraft missile system positions during this day.

Units of rocket forces and artillery of the Ukrainian Defense Forces hit nine command posts, 17 areas with enemy personnel concentration, an area with artillery concentration, and two ammunition depots of the occupiers.
