To your attention — operational information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 06.00 on December 11, 2022 regarding the Russian invasion of our country.

Glory to Ukraine! The two hundred and ninety-first day of the Russian large-scale invasion has begun.

Over the past day, units of the Defense Forces repelled attacks by Russian occupiers in the areas of the populated places Novoselivske, Andriyivka, Chervonopopivka, Zhitlivka, Serhiybrykove, and Bihorivka in Luhansk Oblast, as well as Verkhnyokamyanske, Sverdlovsk, Bahmutskoe, Podgordine, and Bahmut in Donetsk Oblast.

In addition, the enemy carried out three missile strikes and 17 air raids, and also conducted more than 60 artillery shelling with multiple rocket launchers.

The threat of missile strikes on objects of the energy system and critical infrastructure remains throughout the territory of Ukraine.

On the Volynian and Polesian Directions the situation has remained unchanged, signs of forming offensive groupings by the enemy have not been detected.

On the Northern and Slobodskiy Directions the enemy continues to maintain its troops in border areas of Bryansk, Kursk, and Belgorod Oblasts. The populated places Vynoryvka and Mogrytsia in Sumy Oblast and Strilecha, Zeleno, Staritsa, Ogireve, Varvarivka, Cherniakiv, Chugunivka, Dvorichna, and Rikhdub on the Kharkivshchyna have been subjected to mortar and artillery shelling.

On the Kupyansk and Lyman Directions occupiers shelled areas of populated places Zapadne, Kyslivka, Tabayevka, Pishane, Kharkivske, Berehovo, Kharkiv Oblast; Terny in Donetsk Oblast, and Stelemykhivka, Novoyegorivka, Makiyivka, Plyschanka, Nevsko, and Dibrova in Luhansk Oblast.

On the Bakhmut and Avdiivka Directions the enemy shelled positions of the Defense Forces in areas around more than 20 populated places. Among them are Verkhnyokamyanske, Spirene, Veselye, Berehovo, Bihorivka, Yakovlivka, Sverdlovsk, Bahmutskoe, Bahmut, Georgiyevka, Mariinka, White Mountain, Kurdyumivka, Zalizne, and Avdiivka in Donetsk Oblast.

On the Novopavlivka Direction the enemy attempted to damage our positions with tanks and artillery near Velika Novosilka, Neskyuchne, Prechystyvka, and Vuhledar in Donetsk Oblast.

On the Zaporizhzhya Direction Russian aggressors shelled more than 20 populated places. Among them are Green Field, Novosilka, Novopil, Veremivka in Donetsk Oblast and Novoandriyivka, Orikhiv, Hulyaypole, Dorozhnyanka, Zaliznychne, and Mala Tokmachka in Zaporizhzhya.

On the Kherson Direction artillery strikes were suffered by suburbs and the city of Kherson as well as other populated places on the Dnipro riverbank.

Over the past two weeks in temporarily occupied territory of Luhansk Oblast, Russian occupiers have been conducting searches in educational institutions. The goal is to identify and destroy books in Ukrainian language and materials containing symbols of Ukraine.

In order to replenish personnel shortages in enemy units operating on the Severodonetsk Direction, forced mobilization measures have been strengthened in temporarily occupied territory of Luhansk Oblast. In the city of Krasnyy Luch, there has been an increase in patrols checking documents of men, issuing summonses and transporting them to recruitment points.

Units of rocket forces and artillery of the Defense Forces of Ukraine over the past day inflicted damage on three command posts and three areas of concentration of personnel, weapons, and military equipment of occupiers.
