"Open Football Lessons" visited Striy, which is in Lviv Oblast

Diplomas, sweets, exclusive t-shirts, caps, footballs, and other sports equipment were received by nearly 150 children who were gathered at the central stadium «Sokil» in Stryi for the traditional social-sports festival «Open Football Lessons».

This mass event under the auspices of the UAF in Lviv region is organized by the Lviv Football Association.
On squares on the football field, coaches organized various fun games for children from general education schools in Stryi and Nezhukhovo as well as from the Stryi Children's-Youth Sports School to help them master football techniques. They also taught the children rules of safe behavior during wartime and its aftermath, basics of strengthening their own health and immunity. In addition, the children spoke with a psychologist.

The ceremony to close the festival was attended by Deputy Chairman of the Lviv Football Association Stepan Ponaïda and First Deputy Mayor of Stryi, Head of the Stryi District Football Association Mykola Dmitrišin.
