"Ukrainians! Ukrainian women!"
Unbreakable people of an unbreakable country!
I have just addressed the UN Security Council and called for a response. A response to Russian terror. One seat in the Security Council is still occupied, and something was attempted from there. I am certain that no one in the world wants to hear Russian lies anymore. This seat is actually empty.
Today, the European Parliament recognized Russia as a state sponsor of terrorism and called on the EU and member states to create legal frameworks so that this recognition has consequences—legal consequences, not just political ones—across Europe.
And Russia—as if the whole world does not matter—continued its missile attacks today.
The United States of America announced another package of support worth 400 million dollars. Everything we need to protect the lives and freedom of our people.
And Russia used missiles for yet another attack on another hospital, killing... an infant. A life that lasted only two days was cut short.
Today, we are rolling out "Unbreakability Points" across the country to support our people, providing warmth, electricity, and communication.
And Russia is wasting 67 missiles targeting the very foundation of life anywhere in Ukraine and causing a blackout.
When I received evening reports on the progress of restoring power supply, eleven regions had the mark "the entire region without electricity."
As of midnight, we are gradually connecting new and new areas. Energy workers, communal services, DSNZ will work around the clock.
Kyiv Oblast—the connection for household consumers has started; already 20% is connected.
Chernihiv Oblast—a difficult situation, but they are looking for ways to provide power to people.
Cherkasy Oblast—all critical infrastructure is working; we are doing everything to restore electricity to household consumers.
Odesa Oblast—water supply connected at 100%, heating—100%, household consumers of electricity—so far little, only 10%. But there will be more by morning.
Volyn—tens of thousands of consumers are connected; we are working on all others.
Ternopil Oblast—we are connecting by district.
Lviv Oblast—it was completely disconnected. As of now, 90% is reconnected.
Kyiv—a very difficult situation. Work will continue all night. We expect results already tomorrow, in the first half of the day.
The same applies to all cities and communities that were affected or lost power. We are doing everything for our people.
And occupiers do everything to make people suffer, so we cannot even feel or see each other.
Today, our team managed to bring home another 36 Ukrainians. 35 servicemen and one civilian. Two officers, 33—privates and sergeants. Despite everything, we are rescuing our people and will definitely return all the detained and deported.
This clearly demonstrates who we are and who they are. It speaks very precisely about everything. Russian occupiers still have not understood that they only have today. And with you, we certainly have tomorrow.
And I thank everyone who ensures this through their bravery and effectiveness!
Glory to Ukraine!"
