To your attention — operational information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 06.00 on November 22, 2022 regarding the Russian invasion of our country.

Glory to Ukraine! The two hundred and seventieth day of heroic resistance against Russia's large-scale invasion has begun.

Russian occupiers continue their military aggression against our state, do not cease to strike at industrial objects. They attempt to maintain the temporarily occupied territories, concentrate efforts on restraining units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces, carry out engineering equipment along the line of defense, and continue offensive actions in certain directions, conduct aerial reconnaissance.

Over the past day, units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled attacks by occupiers in the areas of the populated places Stelmakhivka in Luhansk region and Spirene, Bihorivka, Yakovlivka, Siversk, Bakhmut, Kamianka, Opitne, Vesele, Pervomaiske, Krasnogorivka, Marinka, and Novomykhailivka in Donetsk region.

The enemy does not cease shelling the positions of our troops and populated places near the line of confrontation. Continues artillery strikes on critical infrastructure and civilian housing.

Over the past day, the opponent carried out nine air raids, seven missile attacks, and over 50 shelling with multiple rocket launchers. Civilian infrastructure objects in the populated places Komishuhova and Novotroitske in Zaporizhzhia region were damaged.

On the Volynian, Polesian, Northern, and Slobozhansky directions, there are no significant changes in the situation. Signs of forming offensive groups by the enemy have not been detected yet.

The Republic of Belarus continues to support Russia's military aggression against Ukraine, providing infrastructure, territory, and airspace. The threat of enemy missile and air strikes from the territory and airspace of the Republic of Belarus remains.

On the Northern direction, in border areas of Bryansk and Kursk regions, the enemy continues to perform tasks for covering the Russian-Ukrainian border, conducting demonstrative and provocative actions. Shelled positions of our units near the populated place Rozhkovychi in Sumy region.

On the Kupyansk and Lyman directions, the enemy is on defense, conducts shelling with tanks, mortars, and artillery. In particular — in the areas of the populated places Orlyanske and Lozova in Kharkiv region; Novoselivske, Stelmakhivka, Ploschanka, Makieivka in Luhansk region, and Terny in Donetsk region.

On the Bakhmut and Avdiivsky directions, the enemy concentrates its efforts on conducting offensive actions. Conducted shelling with tanks and various types of artillery in the areas of 17 populated places. Among them — Andriyivka, Siversk, Bakhmut, Bakhmutskoye, Mayor'sky, Opitne, Yakovlivka, Vesele, and Vodyane.

On the Novopavlovsky and Zaporizhzhia directions, the enemy is defending on occupied positions. Conducted shelling of Ukrainian Defense Forces' positions with tanks, mortars, artillery of various types. As a result of enemy artillery fire, areas of 21 populated places were damaged, including Bogoyavlenskaya, Vremivka, Ugledar, Zolotaya Niva in Donetsk region and Hulyaypole, Zaliznychny, Malinivka, Mirnoye in Zaporizhzhia region.

On the Kryvyi Rih and Kherson directions, the enemy is improving fortifications and logistical support for frontline units that are defending, and does not cease artillery shelling of our troops' positions and populated places on the right bank of the Dnipro river.

Russian occupiers fire with field and rocket artillery at areas of the populated places Antonivka, Zelenivka, Komishany, and Musykyvka in Kherson region.

In violation of international humanitarian law, laws, and customs of war, Russian occupation troops, among other things, have established a torture facility on the territory of a rest base in the populated place Strelkovoye in Henichesk district of Kherson region where they detain and subject to torture Ukrainian citizens.

Ukrainian aviation over the past day delivered an airstrike on the area of concentration of personnel, weapons, and military equipment of the enemy.

Units of rocket forces and artillery of the Ukrainian Defense Forces over the past day hit a command post, fuel and lubricant materials depot, area of concentration of personnel, weapons, and military equipment, and radio-electronic combat station of Russian occupiers.
