The Ukrainian youth team has departed for Georgia, where from November 16 to 22 they will hold a training camp during which they will play two friendly matches.

On Monday, November 14, the coaching staff and players representing domestic clubs traveled to Uzhhorod. On Tuesday, the delegation is scheduled to travel to Budapest from where they will fly to Tbilisi with a stopover in Istanbul. By the morning of November 16, the Ukrainian youth team should already be at their hotel in Georgia's capital city. Foreign-based players will join them directly there.

There have been significant changes in the squad announced earlier by head coach Ruslan Rotan. Due to various reasons, Didik, Drambajev, Kozik, Kriskiv, Ocheretko, Mykytishyn, and Shostak will not be traveling to Georgia, while Bunchukov, Kulakovskiy, Mikhaylenko, and Yakuba have been called up from the reserve list. The team now consists of 22 players.

On November 19, Ukraine's youth team will face Israel's youth squad, and on the 21st — Georgia's youth squad. Both matches at Tbilisi Sea Technical Center Stadium start at 4 PM local time (2 PM Kyiv time). It is worth noting that both opponents of the blue-and-yellow team are also participants in Euro-2023 (U-21): Georgia as hosts, and Israel who qualified by defeating Poland, Hungary (in group play) and Ireland (in playoffs).
