The Arbitration Committee of the Ukrainian Football Association explained the interpretation of certain game episodes from matchday 13 of the Vbet League between "Shakhtar" and "Zorya," which took place on November 13.

The main expert in arbitration at the UFA, Nicola Rizzoli, commented on specific incidents during the matchday 13 game of the Vbet League between "Shakhtar" and "Zorya."

51 min. Goal that was annulled for offside position.

During the moment of a cross into the penalty area, player #6 from FC "Shakhtar" is in an obvious offside position and influences the play by contacting with opponent player #44, limiting his ability to compete for the ball. Considering this situation as one that warrants punishment is correct.

55 min. Goal that was annulled for offside position.

The situation is very borderline — it's difficult to determine whether player #6 from FC "Shakhtar" is in an offside position or if he is level with the second-to-last defender. The recommendations provided by the Arbitration Committee of the UFA, as well as those from UEFA and FIFA, are quite clear: "In case of doubt, keep the flag down." Therefore, in such a situation as this one, the committee expects that the assistant referee will not raise the flag.
