Lviv's "Karpaty" footballers continue to disappoint their supporters, failing to demonstrate the ability to play through "can't" and achieve the necessary results in matches against nearby rivals. In their encounter with Dunaivtsi, taking into account their home defeat by "Epitsentr" in the first round, they had no right for excuses anymore. The match was about securing crucial points that would be counted towards the main final, as both Galicians and Podolyans have already secured a place in the top quartet of Group A.

Before halftime, the guests were passive, which the hosts under Sergiy Nagornyak took advantage of: on the 38th minute, defender Yevhen Shevchenko joined an attack and put the home team ahead — 1:0.

In the second half, Lvivians stepped up their game, but their territorial dominance did not leave any doubts. They failed to avoid a loss, however. And now, for them to retain even the slightest chance of promotion next spring, they must win against "Priripet" and "Polesye" in their remaining November matches.

In Group B, an important match took place in Kremenchuk between "Kremen" and "Poltava." And its final score should not be misleading.
