President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky addressed the nation, speaking about the work of the Crimean Platform at the parliamentary level and about talks with the President of Germany and the new Prime Minister of the United Kingdom.

"I wish you good health, dear Ukrainians!

Today was a very active diplomatic day for us, events at all levels for Ukraine. The highest level, governmental, parliamentary.

In the morning, I addressed the participants of the Berlin conference dedicated to rebuilding and modernizing our country. This is already the second such conference after the one held in Lugano, Switzerland. We are working on obtaining resources for the rapid restoration of our infrastructure, social facilities, housing for Ukrainians.

I am grateful to German Chancellor Scholz and European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen for today's event in Berlin being very substantive. We expect concrete decisions. Time does not stand still, and winter is approaching.

Today in Croatia, the Crimean Platform began its work at the parliamentary level.

This is an additional and very powerful level of our tool for deoccupation and reintegration of Crimea.

Parliament always embodies democracy, representing various communities of each country. Therefore, when parliaments help restore territorial integrity, when through parliamentary cooperation it is possible to direct expert work and exchange experience in the right direction, this is very powerful.

We will definitely free Crimea. We will return this part of our state not only to the Ukrainian space but also to the European one. This was confirmed again today. And I am grateful to all our partners — almost 50 countries and international organizations — who are helping in a parliamentary format. Thank you Croatia for hosting our Crimean Platform.

I held a meeting with representatives of the Jewish community — American, European, and of course Israeli.

We mainly talked about protecting our people, making it impossible for Russia to terrorize us and ending this war as soon as possible by guaranteeing full security and freedom for all Ukrainians on Ukrainian territory.

The faster we achieve peace in Ukraine through a Ukrainian victory, the less harm Russia will be able to inflict on other regions, including the Middle East in its collusion with Iran. I believe that one day Israeli politicians will hear this position as well — the public of Israel already feels it.

We separately discussed the protection of historical memory in Ukraine. Despite the war, we must continue to implement our programs that restore historical justice. We have started an important project honoring victims of Nazism — building a memorial at Babi Yar. We will definitely complete it.

I held very substantive talks with the President of Germany who came to Ukraine today. President Steinmeier visited Chernihiv region today — areas that were under occupation. He was there during an air raid warning. And indeed Russian aerial terror, the use by the enemy of Iranian drones — this was one of the main topics in our talks.

We are very grateful to Germany for the already provided us anti-aircraft defense system — modern and effective. We expect new such systems.

We discussed the entire spectrum of our cooperation — military, political, financial.

A lot of attention was paid to reconstruction — and I am grateful to President Steinmeier for his readiness personally to patronize this work. We will strengthen cooperation with Germany in the field of reconstruction. And at the local government level, it will also receive presidential patronage.

And one more thing.

Just before recording this address, I spoke with the new Prime Minister of the UK Rishi Sunak. I believe that partnership between our countries and already traditional British leadership in defending democracy and freedom will only strengthen further.

Ukraine and the United Kingdom have achieved the best relations to date, but still there is potential for us to increase our cooperation and give more benefit to our societies. I invited Mr. Prime Minister to visit Ukraine.

Thank you everyone who helps us fight for freedom!

Thank you each and every one of you who is fighting and working for our victory!

Thank you all our soldiers who are now holding positions, destroying occupiers and giving Ukraine the most important feeling — a sense of confidence in our future.

Glory to Ukraine!"
