Note to your attention — operational information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 06.00 on October 15, 2022 regarding the Russian invasion of our country.

Glory to Ukraine! The two hundred and thirty-fourth day of the heroic resistance of the Ukrainian nation against the Russian large-scale invasion has begun.

The aggressor continues to concentrate efforts on attempts to exit into the administrative border of Donetsk Oblast, as well as maintaining control over occupied areas in Kharkiv, Luhansk, Zaporizhzhia, Mykolaiv, and Kherson oblasts.

The enemy does not cease to inflict strikes on critical infrastructure and civilian objects of our country. During the past day, infrastructure and civilians suffered in Kharkiv, Kostiantynivka, Siversky Donets, Bakhmut, Chumaki, Lebedinsky, Zaporizhzhia, Davydovo Brod, and Mirovyy. Dnipropetrovsk Oblast and the city of Ochakiv were subjected to strikes by Iranian unmanned combat aerial vehicles (UCAVs). Six out of nine were successfully shot down by our defenders.

For their crimes, the enemy continues to use cruise missiles, aviation, air defense guided rockets, and UCAVs.

Over the past day, occupiers delivered six missile strikes and 30 aerial attacks, carried out 48 shelling operations with multiple rocket launch systems (MRLS).

On the Volynian and Polissian fronts, the situation has not changed significantly.

On other fronts, the enemy carried out shelling:

on the Northern front — with rocket artillery in the area of the village Rozhkovychi, Sumy Oblast. The occupiers also conducted reconnaissance in the area of the village Bleshnya, Chernihiv Oblast using UCAVs, which was successfully shot down;

on the Slobodian front — with mortars and artillery in the areas of the villages Hatishe, Vovchanskyi Khutor, Starytsia, and Dvoriche;

on the Kramatorsk front — with mortars, artillery, and rocket artillery in the areas of the villages Verkhnyokamyanske, Vishneve, Grekiivka, Hryhorivka, Zariichne, Kovalevka, Makieyivka, Nadia, Novovodyane, Olhivka, Pereshotravnene, Rozdolivka, Tabayivka, Terne, and Yamopolivka;

on the Bakhmut front — with tanks, mortars, artillery in the areas of the villages Bilohorivka, Yakovlivka, Siversky Donets, Bakhmutskoie, Bakhmut, Opytne, Klyshchyvka, Odryadivka, Zelenopillya, Kurdyumyvka, Mayoriv, and New York;

on the Avdiivka front — with tanks and artillery in the areas of the villages Kamyanka, Tonikhyne, Avdiivka, Pervomaiske, Vodyane, Opytne, Nevelske, Marinka, and Krasnogorove.

On the Novoazovsk and Zaporizhzhia fronts, the enemy did not conduct offensive operations and continues to equip defensive positions. Shelled with mortars, artillery, and rocket artillery more than 20 areas of populated places. Among them — Velyka Novosilka, Vremivka, Golda Niva, Ugledar, Pavlivka, Mikilske, and Novodanilove.

On the South Buzhok front, areas of more than 30 populated places along the line of contact suffered fire.

According to available information, a large number of wounded are arriving in medical facilities on temporarily occupied territories. Thus, one of the hospitals in the city of Donetsk received nearly 100 injured over the week. In Tokmak, Zaporizhzhia Oblast, hospitals are overcrowded. According to local residents' reports, civilians are not admitted due to doctors' overload and lack of beds. Due to low-quality medical care and refusal by Russian occupation forces command to evacuate severely wounded to Russia, mortality among them exceeds 50%.

According to updated information, the destruction of enemy personnel and equipment in previous days has been confirmed in Zaporizhzhia Oblast. Thus, as a result of effective actions by the Defense Forces in the areas of populated places Oriliv, Kinsky Rozdory, and Tokmak, nearly 100 occupiers were injured. Among them over 25 — recently mobilized. In the area of the village Berdyansk, four S-300 complexes were destroyed.

Defense Forces successfully repelled enemy attacks in Donetsk Oblast, particularly in the areas of populated places Beresteve, Yakovlivka, Bakhmutskoie, Bakhmut, Opytne, Ivanivgrad, Spirene, Nevelske, Marinka, Bilohorivka, Terne, and Novomikhailove.

During the past day, air force of Defense Forces delivered nearly 30 strikes. Confirmed damage to 25 areas of concentration of weapons and military equipment, as well as three anti-aircraft missile complexes of the enemy. In addition, our subunits of anti-aircraft defense shot down nine UCAVs.

Rocket troops and artillery hit four command points, 15 areas of concentration of manpower, weapons, and military equipment, 12 ammunition depots, one artillery installation, and 20 other important targets over the day.
