A week ago, Oleksandr Kucher's wards played against a debutant in the group stages of European cups and won comfortably — 2:2. So now in Vaduz, Dnipro-1 hoped to recover and improve their tournament standing.
At the start of the match, the hosts had the upper hand and delivered several dangerous shots, including Valef saving from Djokic's attempt to finish a cross from the flank. However, at the 25th minute, "Dnipro-1" took the lead — after a set piece, the ball rebounded off Amash, who scored with a shot from outside the penalty area over Büchel. Nevertheless, soon "Vaduz" equalized — Fer's cross from the right flank reached Rastoder, who tapped it in.
In the second half, players from Liechtenstein dominated on the pitch, and only their imprecision and Valef’s skillfulness allowed Dniprians not to concede. And then in added time, Dobych scored a cross by Tanchyk and brought victory to his team. For Artem, this is already his 11th goal in the last nine matches.
In the lineup of "Dnipro-1", players who were called up for the latest national team training camp participated in the match: Sarapiy, Pikhalonok (substituted at the 83rd minute), Dobych (goal).
