The annual UEFA Mass Football Week took place from September 23 to 30 during the European Sports Week with the aim of encouraging and inspiring participation in all forms of football.

It is mass football that creates a strong foundation for play, provides opportunities for everyone, serves as a means of educational, sports and social development, and promotes lifelong participation in football.

Most regions of Ukraine participated in the UEFA Mass Football Week, organizing their activities in compliance with safety requirements and additional civil defense measures during the state of emergency.

These activities contributed to further popularizing football among broad sections of the population, and especially among young people. This includes training sessions and master classes with football masters and current athletes, football matches between veterans, charity games, girls' tournaments, festivals, etc.
