Note to your attention — operational information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 06.00 on October 1, 2022 regarding the Russian invasion of our country.
Glory to Ukraine! The two hundred and twentieth day of heroic resistance of the Ukrainian nation against the Russian large-scale invasion has begun.
The enemy continues to concentrate efforts on attempts at full occupation of the Donetsk region and holding temporarily seized territories, as well as halting active operations of the Defense Forces along certain axes. The adversary is shelling our troops' positions along the line of contact, conducting air reconnaissance. It strikes civilian infrastructure and residential areas inhabited by civilians, violating international humanitarian law, laws, and customs of war.
Over the past day, the enemy carried out four missile and 15 aviation attacks, conducted over 85 artillery shelling with multiple rocket launchers on military and civilian objects in Ukraine's territory.
As a result of enemy strikes, more than 50 settlements were affected, including Bihorivka, Novomikhaylivka, Blahodatyvka, Sukhyi Stavok, and Otradivka.
On the Volynian and Polesian Directions, there have been no significant changes in the situation.
On other axes, the enemy carried out shelling of settlements with tanks, mortars, field artillery, and multiple rocket launchers:
on the Slobodzian Direction— in the areas of the settlements Strelcha, Rikcodub, Kuchkivka, Ohrymovka, and Vilkhuvatka;
on the Kramatorsk Direction— in the areas of the settlements Hryhorivka, Bihorivka, Ivan-Daryivka, Zakite, Rozdolyvka, and Spirene;
on the Bakhmutsk Direction— in the areas of the settlements Bakhmut, Zaytseve, Mykolaivka Second, and Paraskovyivka;
on the Avdiyivsk Direction— in the areas of the settlements Mariinka, Vodyane, and Oleksandropol;
on the Novopavlivsk Direction— in the areas of the settlements Novosilka, Novopyl, Prechystivka, and Pavlivka.
On the Zaporizhian Direction, shelling was recorded in the areas of the settlements Mala Tokmachka, Zaliznychne, Hulyaypole, and Novoandriyivka.
On the Southern Bug Direction, tank, mortar, and field artillery shelling affected the areas around more than 25 settlements along the line of contact, including Stepova Dolina, Miren, Sukhyi Stavok, Olhynne, and Arkhangelske.
Due to a severe shortage of human resources, primarily—officer cadres, Russian military leadership is forced to prematurely mobilize cadets from military schools. An early graduation will be held at the Tyumen Military School. Graduates are planned to be assigned to primary officer positions in units that are being filled with mobilization reserves. Cadets of graduating courses from the Ryazan Airborne Training Center will be sent for training of battalions of the mobilization reserve, which is carried out on ranges near Ryazan, Omsk, Pskov, Tula, and other cities. For these units, preparation and coordination measures are planned to be completed within no more than one month, followed by deployment to areas of combat operations in Ukraine.
Over the past day, subunits of the Defense Forces repelled enemy attacks near New York, Zaytseve, and Sverdlovsk.
The aviation of the Defense Forces carried out 11 strikes over the last day. It was confirmed that an enemy command post, six ammunition storage areas, and four air defense missile complexes were hit. In addition, our subunits of anti-aircraft defense shot down three UAVs and a Ka-52 helicopter.
Missile troops and artillery over the past day damaged 11 control points of various levels and eight areas of concentration of manpower, weapons, and military equipment. Additionally, another 14 enemy military objects were hit—ammunition depots, air defense missile complexes, crossings, radio-electronic warfare and reconnaissance stations.
We believe in the Armed Forces of Ukraine! Together we will win! Glory to Ukraine!
