Yana Kalinina: "The team approaches the match with Spain in good shape. We have prepared well for this encounter, and our victory over the Faroes added morale. We need to show a good game."
The Ukrainian national team has always been known for its character and teamwork. We've won many matches thanks to this. We will fight and I believe we can put on a decent performance. Let's see what the result is later."
We did well in qualifying, but it's unfortunate that our current standing in the table doesn't satisfy us. Everything was decided by our home match against Scotland. I believe that in future qualification cycles we will show a better result."

Natiya Pantulaia: "The Ukrainian national team approaches the match with Spain with full responsibility. This is a very important game, and it doesn't matter where we are in our group. We need to conduct this meeting as well as possible."
In the Spanish squad there has been a change, but it's unlikely that this will significantly affect their play. They have an extremely high level of football. But we've worked and are ready for this match.
Every team has some weaknesses. Spain is no exception. Our goal is to take advantage of them."

It should be noted that the Royal Spanish Football Federation will conduct a social action in support of Ukraine during the Spain-Ukraine match.
At the beginning of the war, the Spanish government through the Ministry of Integration and Social Security initiated a program to help and care for refugees who arrived due to military actions in Ukraine.
Thanks to this action, some of these people will be able to support our team.
There will be nearly a hundred Ukrainians at the match. In addition, Ukrainian children will be present as escorts for players at the start of the game.
