“It is on this new pitch in Yuzhne that young footballers will celebrate their future victory over occupiers with a festive match. Judging from the lively interest shown by girls here towards football, boys already have serious competition. I was deeply moved to see how sincerely these children perform the national anthem and honor the raising of the national flag above their new football home. A country with such children is unbeatable! I wish them peaceful skies, and in the future, to join our national teams!” — said the head of UAF after the opening ceremony.
