President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky addressed the nation, speaking about his talks with UN Secretary-General Guterres and Turkish President Erdogan as well as the intense shelling of Kharkiv, Mykolaiv, and Zaporizhzhia.

"I wish health to all dear Ukrainians!

Today we are in Lviv, now — at the Potocki Palace. After completing this very active day — I report on events, meetings, negotiations and decisions.

Since early morning — we are here. And once again, I want to thank the city of Lviv, all Lviv residents for their attention, calmness, and emotional support that was felt throughout the day.

Firstly, I visited our defenders — those who are recovering from injuries in hospitals. Very brave guys, strong. Thanked the doctors who do everything to quickly restore the health of our soldiers.

Was very happy to see boys and girls studying at the National Academy of Land Forces named after Petro Sahaidachnyi. It was extremely pleasant to hear that more and more people want to become officers in the Ukrainian army. The competition for one place in the academy is now as high as it used to be only in civilian universities. And this really gives grounds not just to talk about patriotism of our youth, but also about how people believe in Ukraine, in our Armed Forces, in our victory. Awarded the best soldiers.

During a special ceremony on Mars Field at Lychakiv Cemetery we honored the memory of all those who gave their lives for Ukraine and its independence in this cruel war.

There is no other alternative — we must return everything and guarantee security for all future generations in Ukraine.

Conducted talks with UN Secretary-General Guterres and Turkish President Erdogan.

Most of the points discussed are already in the news. I want to say a few main things now.

First. There are no objective reasons for the IAEA mission not to enter Zaporizhzhia NPP. Today, with Mr Guterres, we discussed the parameters of this mission and that it can very quickly and completely safely enter the station through free territory of our country in a legal way. And only so.

The one who staged nuclear blackmail cannot be a «carrier» of any such missions. Russia must immediately and unconditionally allow IAEA representatives to enter the station and also immediately and unconditionally withdraw its troops from the territory of the station. The world has the power to ensure this.

If it does not guarantee, then it means that one can simply throw into the trash all international documents on nuclear and radiation safety. Russia is destroying this international order.

The second extremely important point of the talks — this is Ukrainian prisoners held by the Russian Federation.

I called upon Mr Secretary-General to use all UN possibilities to ensure that Russia complies with all norms of international law regarding prisoners. And we discussed directing a fact-finding mission to Olenivka. The full truth about this Russian terror must and will be established.

Of course, talked about the export grain initiative. Results are there — not only for Ukraine but also for the world as it is felt that the sharpness of the global food crisis is easing.

Therefore, much more security, larger exports, and more ships to supply Ukrainian food from our ports are needed.

Very substantive talks on many topics were held today with Turkish President Erdogan. Thankful to him for his constant support of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of our state. Discussed defense cooperation, economic ties, and energy issues.

Thank Turkey for its readiness to take under patronage the reconstruction of Kharkiv and Kharkiv region. This is a mission for a truly powerful country. Today, the first step was made — an agreement on infrastructure was signed.

Called upon both Mr President and Mr Secretary-General to voice the maximum tough position regarding planned Russian pseudo-referendums in occupied territories. Any pseudo-referendum will be a slap in the face of the international community.

And I want to mention one more thing today.

An extremely harsh night was in Kharkiv — over ten dead. Mykolaiv and Zaporizhzhia were shelled again. The Russian army is wasting colossal resources to capture another kilometer on the Donbas front. Russian officials repeat threats against Odessa and other Ukrainian cities. We see what is happening at the Zaporizhzhia NPP. We saw what happened in Olenivka.

We can and must think only about how to win. Win on the battlefield, on the political front, in information warfare, economically, everywhere...

Believe in ourselves, help each other, protect Ukraine's interests and know that peace will come.

He who fights and keeps fighting wisely wins.

Eternal glory to all our soldiers! Eternal memory to those whose lives were taken by the occupiers.

Glory to Ukraine!
