The official UEFA website emphasizes that this appointment is a significant recognition of the professional qualities of our compatriot against the backdrop of many difficult events this year. Today's match at "Wembley" will be an appropriate addition to Kateryna Monzul's refereeing resume, which includes the final of the 2015 Women's World Cup and the final of the 2014 Women's Champions League.

Moreover, the final match between England and Germany will be Kateryna's fourth game at Euro-2022. She served as the main referee in two group stage matches, Spain — Finland (Group B) and Austria — Norway (Group A), as well as in the quarter-final Sweden — Belgium.

Kateryna herself is confident that her extensive refereeing experience at prestigious tournaments in both women's and men's football will serve her well in the vibrant atmosphere of the final.

"Of course, this will be the most attended match among those I have refereed. But as soon as the game starts, you forget about everything around and focus on refereeing. Still, it is an emotional moment for me. It's when your dream comes true," — Monzul said.

Kateryna Monzul will be accompanied at "Wembley" by a seasoned team. The assistant referees will be Marina Striletska (Ukraine) and Paulina Baranowska (Poland). The fourth official — Stéphanie Frappart (France). The VAR referee — Paolo Valeri (Italy). The assistant VAR referee — Maurizio Mariani (Italy).

We add that the final will start today at 19.00 Kyiv time.
