The representatives of the working group responsible for preparing the championship of the Ukrainian Premier League, on behalf of the president of the UAF and UEFA Executive Committee member Andriy Pavelka, conducted inspections at stadiums undergoing certification to organize matches for the 2022/2023 season of the Ukrainian Championship.

Together with representatives from clubs planning to use these stadiums, first vice-presidents of the UAF Oleksiy Mykhaylichenko and Vadim Kostiuchenko discussed requirements that need to be met during matches held under martial law conditions and inspected sports arenas.

We inspected stadiums in Lviv — "Ukraine," SKIF, and "Arena Lviv"; in Uzhhorod — "Avangard" and "Minay"; in Ternopil — the City Stadium named after Roman Shukhevych. These arenas are among those competing to host matches of the Ukrainian Premier League on the western side of our country. Accordingly, clubs already plan their bases during championship games.

According to my information, along with "Minay" in Uzhhorod, "Vorskla," "Dnipro-1," and "Metalist" are also planning to play there. In Lviv, apart from local teams, "Shakhtar" will be based there as well. In Kryvyi Rih, the local "Kolos" will be joined by "Chornomorets." Other clubs are holding talks with both stadiums and local military administrations since it is these local military administrations together with the State Emergency Service of Ukraine that will issue permits for matches in the Ukrainian Premier League depending on the situation in the region,— said the first vice-president of the UAF Vadim Kostiuchenko to the press service of the UAF.

On July 28, the Executive Committee of the UAF approved the schedule for the next season, according to which the base day of the first round of the Ukrainian Championship is set for August 23.
