A working meeting took place at the Football House in Kyiv with the participation of the leadership of the Ukrainian Association of Football (UAF), representatives of the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, DSNS, the Ukrainian Premier League, and the Professional Football League. The main topic of the meeting was the security of preparing and holding matches with the resumption of football competitions in Ukraine.

As President of the Ukrainian Football Association and UEFA Executive Committee member Andriy Pyvovarov announced during the meeting, it is planned that competitions will be resumed before Ukraine's State Flag Day and Independence Day under strict adherence to all security measures and full control by military, law enforcement, the Ministry of Youth and Sports, and local authorities.

"Holding football competitions during the war is not just about sports. It's about demonstrating the bravery of our people, the unbreakable spirit and desire for an inevitable victory over Russian occupiers in the fight for independence. This is a unique initiative in world history - football against war in wartime, football for peace! I am confident that football will provide additional energy and strengthen society's faith in the ultimate success of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on all fronts and complete liberation of Ukraine. The resumption of football will be one of the elements of this victory," — Andriy Pyvovarov noted.

The meeting participants discussed various security aspects of resuming the Ukrainian championship, heard information about requirements for regions and stadiums where matches are planned to be held, and agreed to coordinate efforts in preparing a document that will regulate the preparation and holding of matches. In the future, this document may be useful for regulating competitions in other sports.
