Euro 2022 (U-19). The England team became the champion of Europe for the second time in this age category
In Slovakia, the final stage of Euro 2022 (U-19) concluded. The decisive match was between the teams of Israel and England.
In the semi-finals, both teams emerged stronger than their opponents with an identical score — 2:1. Israel defeated France, and England beat Italy.
Today's score was completely different. The Israelis opened the scoring, but in the second half, the English managed to level it up — 1:1. The match went into extra time, where goals from Chukwueze and Ramsay secured victory for England.
3:1, thus making England's national team the second European champion in the U-19 age category (including U-18 — 11th title).
