And despite their tight schedule, the players of our team did not forget to help defenders who are fighting hard against Russian invaders. The footballers purchased five rations for the Armed Forces, and today in Kyiv at the House of Football, a half-defender from Donetsk Shakhtar and the youth national team Georgiy Sudakov handed them over to the 98th Battalion "Dnipro-Azov."

"We, as a team, decided to support our soldiers who are currently on the front lines. We agreed among ourselves and bought rations. We help defenders of Ukraine in any way we can. This idea did not come from anyone specific—it was something we all came up with together. Regarding the rations, our administrators helped us learn that they are urgently needed by our soldiers right now. We bought as many as we could, and I personally believe that they will be useful on the front."—said Georgiy Sudakov.
The rations with words of gratitude were received by a volunteer from Dnipro, Kirill Kireev.

"Since 2014, we have been helping representatives of the fan movement from «Dnipro» and other clubs fighting in the ranks of the Armed Forces and Territorial Defense with various equipment. How did this idea come about? Currently, there is a huge need for rations that Russian troops cannot detect. We learned this directly from those on the front lines.

I received rations from the youth national team players and will go to Dnipro, where I will hand them over to our fans who are in the ranks of the 98th Battalion «Dnipro-Azov». From my side, I want to say that war is not only fought on the front lines. In a certain sense, it also takes place on football fields. Both our youth team and the national team show good results. We believe in them and hope for their victories in upcoming matches."—said Kirill Kireev.
