Note to your attention — operational information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 06.00 17.06.2022 regarding the Russian invasion into our country.

The one hundred and fourteenth day of the heroic resistance of the Ukrainian nation against the Russian military invasion has begun.

On the Volynian and Polesian Directions main efforts of the armed forces of the republic of Belarus are concentrated on conducting reconnaissance, engineering fortification of positions, and securing the state border. There is a threat of missile and aviation strikes.

On the Northern Direction the enemy continues to conduct demonstrative actions. The aggressor shelled with artillery units of the Defense Forces in the border areas of Sumy and Chernihiv regions.

On the Kharkiv Direction main efforts of the opponent are concentrated on holding occupied lines, preventing the advance of defense forces to the state border and into the rear of the enemy grouping operating on the Sloviansk direction. The enemy attempted to conduct reconnaissance by fire in the area of the populated place Kochubeyivka. Our soldiers responded with accurate fire, and the enemy withdrew.

On the Sloviansk Direction occupiers are concentrating main efforts on continuing the offensive towards Sloviansk. They are conducting reconnaissance by fire in the area of the populated place Krasnopillya, battle is ongoing. The enemy attempted to take full control over the populated place Bogorodichne. Ukrainian soldiers successfully repelled the assault.

In an attempt to create conditions for developing the offensive towards Sloviansk city, the enemy uses artillery in areas of Dolyna, Krasnopillya, Dybriwne and Virnopillya.

On the Lyman Direction active actions by the opponent were not conducted.

On the Severodonetsk Direction occupiers continue artillery fire from field and rocket artillery on our units. An air strike was carried out against the populated place Ustynivka. Ongoing combat operations for full control over the city of Severodonetsk are continuing. The enemy is moving additional units of rocket artillery to the direction.

On the Bakhmut Direction defenders of Ukraine repelled an enemy assault towards the populated place Zolote. The enemy withdrew. Occupiers attempted to advance towards the populated places Vasilivka and Berestove. Our soldiers inflicted artillery damage and forced the enemy to flee.

On the Avdiivka, Kurakhivka, Novopavlivka, and Zaporizhzhia Directions active offensive actions by the opponent were not recorded. The enemy carried out air strikes near New York, Avdiivka, and Victory.

On the South-Bug Direction the enemy used field artillery and multiple rocket launchers in areas of populated places Kulbakiino, Mykolaivka, Stepova Dolyna, Murakhivka, Novopavlivske, Shevchenkove, Zoria, Partizanske, Kvitneve, Novohryhorivka, Kiseliukha, Kniazivka, Osokorivka, Lupareve and Posad-Pokrovskoe. Ukrainian aviation carried out strikes against enemy concentrations in Kherson, Kahovka, and Berislav regions of the Kherson region.

The aggressor continues to block civilian shipping in the northwestern part of the Black Sea. Its waters are currently being patrolled by two missile carriers of the Kalibr type.

The opponent continues to suffer losses in manpower, armaments and equipment. During the day in the Donetsk region, Territorial Defense Forces soldiers of Ukraine shot down a Mi-35M helicopter. There are successes also in Zaporizhzhia. In Kherson region, the enemy suffered significant losses in personnel.
