Note for Attention — Operational Information of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 06.00 on June 6, 2022 regarding the Russian invasion into our country.

The one hundred and third day has begun of the heroic resistance of the Ukrainian nation against the Russian military invasion.

On the Volynian and Polesian Directions significant changes in the situation have not been noted. On the territory of the Republic of Belarus along the state border with Ukraine, there is a presence of separate units of the armed forces of the Russian Federation equipped with operational-tactical missile complexes "Iskander-M", anti-aircraft gun systems "Pantsir-S1", air defense missile systems S-400 and aircraft of operational-tactical aviation.

On the Northern Direction the enemy continues to ensure reinforced protection of the section of the Ukrainian-Russian border in Bryansk and Kursk regions. With the aim of demonstrating presence in border areas, separate units of the enemy are conducting shelling of civilian infrastructure in populated areas of Chernihiv and Sumy regions of Ukraine.

On the Slobozhansky Direction the enemy continues to shell Ukrainian defense units with artillery, multiple rocket launchers, mortars, and tanks. With the aim of supporting offensive actions, the enemy is intensively restoring transportation infrastructure and setting up pontoon-railroad bridges across rivers on temporarily occupied territories.

On the Kharkiv Direction occupiers are conducting active defense, concentrating their efforts on holding the occupied positions. With the aim of increasing the stability of their defense, the enemy is carrying out additional measures with engineering-fortification equipment of positions. To tie down the actions of Ukrainian Defense Forces, they conduct intensive artillery and mortar shelling of our positions. In addition, the enemy shelled civilian infrastructure in the areas of populated places Bazilivka, Kutyuzhivka, and Pyrivske.

On the Sloviansky Direction the main efforts of the enemy are concentrated on continuing offensive actions towards the populated place of Sloviansk.

With artillery of various calibers, the enemy shelled civilian infrastructure in the areas of populated places Velyka Komishuvaха, Virnopillya, Dibrivne, Nova Dmitrivka and Kurulka.

On the Donetsk Direction units of the aggressor are conducting fire strikes on our positions along the entire line of contact. The enemy carried out rocket-aircraft strikes on Sloviansk, Lysychansk, and Orekhovo.

On the Lyman Direction with artillery support, the enemy is conducting offensive actions in the area of Svyatogorsk. Also, the enemy is carrying out assault actions towards populated places Shchurove and Staryi Karavan. Battles are ongoing in both areas.

On the Severodonetsk Direction the enemy shelled our troops with mortars and various types of artillery systems. Civilian infrastructure was also damaged in the areas of populated places Metyolkino, Borivske, Ustynivka, Toshkivka and others. Occupiers continue to assault Severodonetsk.

On the Bakhmut Direction the enemy conducted shelling of our units' positions with mortars, field artillery, and multiple rocket launchers in the areas of populated places Zolote, Orekhovo, Hirske, Vrubivka, Klinove, Bilohorivka, Pokrovskoye, and Roti. Used strike and army aviation for air strikes near Bakhmut and Berestove. Conducted assault actions in the areas of populated places Komishuvaха, Berestovе, and Mykolayivka. The enemy suffered significant losses, has not achieved success, and battles continue.

On the Avdiyivka, Kurakhove, Novopavlivka, and Zaporizhzhia Directions the enemy did not conduct active combat actions. Shelled civilian infrastructure in the areas of Novobakhmutivka, Kamianka, Avdiivka, Mikhilske, Golden Field, and Poltavka.

On the South Buzhsky Direction with the aim of tying down our troops, occupiers carried out shelling with artillery of various calibers in the areas of populated places Tavriyske, Nova Zoria, Stepova Dolina, Novomikolaivka and Kobzarky.

The enemy continues to fortify positions in the areas of Shevchenkove, Olhynskyi and other populated places.

During the past day on the Donetsk and Luhansk Directions, seven attacks by the enemy were repelled, four tanks, three artillery systems, eight armored combat vehicles, and three units of automotive equipment were destroyed. Units of anti-aircraft defense shot down a combat helicopter Ka-52 and an unmanned aerial vehicle.
