General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces: operational information regarding the Russian invasion (as of 06:00 04.06.2022)

Note to your attention – operational information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 06.00 on June 4, 2022, regarding the Russian invasion of our country.

The one hundredth day has begun of the heroic resistance of the Ukrainian nation to the Russian military invasion.

Russian occupiers continue conducting offensive operations in the Eastern operational zone and are continuing to deliver rocket and aviation strikes on military and civilian infrastructure targets within Ukraine's territory.

On the Volyn and Polesie Directions, there have been no significant changes in the situation.

On the Northern Direction, the enemy did not conduct active operations. In order to strengthen certain border sectors and tie down our forces, the adversary continues to maintain units of the Russian Federation's armed forces in the border areas of Bryansk and Kursk regions.

On the Slobozhansky Direction, combat operations are ongoing. A column of equipment with ammunition was observed moving towards the populated area of Shipyvata. In the opposite direction, damaged military equipment and vehicles (up to 100 units) are being evacuated.

On the Kharkiv Direction, the main efforts of the occupiers are focused on holding occupied positions. Intensive fire strikes continue against Ukrainian Defense Forces in the areas around the populated places of Hlybokoye, Ruski Tishky, Staro Saltiv and Cherka Tishky. The enemy carried out a rocket strike at an object of transport infrastructure near the populated place of Mohnach.

On the Slovyansky Direction, with the aim of reducing our forces' combat potential, the adversary conducted artillery shelling of the populated places of Grushuvaha, Tytianivka and Dybryvne. Conducted assault operations towards the populated place of Bogorodichne without success. Made an unsuccessful advance towards Vyrnopillya, suffered losses.

On the Donetsk Direction, the enemy is shelling our positions along the entire line of contact with mortars, artillery and rocket launchers. Uses tactical and operational aviation.

The main efforts of the adversary are concentrated on the Severodonetsk and Bakhmut Directions.

With artillery support, the enemy is conducting assault operations in the populated place of Severodonetsk. Reinforced units with mobilized reserves from the 2nd Army Corps. Fighting continues in the city.

The occupiers made an advance towards the populated place of Ustynivka but were unsuccessful.

On the Bakhmut Direction, with artillery support, the enemy is advancing but has not succeeded. As a result of Ukrainian fire strikes, they withdrew.

On the Avdiivka and Krasnohorivka Directions, the adversary is conducting tying-down and repelling actions.

On the Lyman Direction, in the area of the populated place of Starokaravan, occupiers are trying to take control of a section of the left bank of the river Siverskyi Donets.

The pace of enemy units' advance during combat operations on the Donetsk direction is low due to physical exhaustion and low morale-psychological state.

On the South Buzhak Direction, the adversary is conducting positional defense and attempting to deliver fire strikes against our units.

Occupiers fear local population resistance, which is growing, especially in Kherson region. The occupation leadership moves with heavy security, wearing bulletproof vests, in armored vehicles. Local residents continue to provide total resistance.

On the Bessarabian Direction, as well as in the Black Sea and Azov Sea operational zones, there have been no significant changes in the situation.

Three missile carriers of the Kalibr type are ready for use with cruise missiles in the Black Sea waters.

Over the past day, nine enemy attacks were repelled on the Donetsk and Luhansk Directions. One tank, one artillery system, six armored combat vehicles, two special armored cars, and three units of automotive equipment were destroyed. Air defense units shot down a cruise missile, a tactical reconnaissance UAV "Eleron" and two UAVs of type "Orlan-10".

Together we will win! Glory to Ukraine!
