The blue-and-yellow continue preparing for the 2022 World Cup qualifiers and Nations League matches. Everton defender Vitaliy Mykolenko recently arrived at the team's training camp and rejoined the main group after a minor injury.

"I don't remember when I had two trainings per day, so I'm a bit tired. Ahead of us is an intra-squad match — a practice game with increased responsibility. We will prepare for it as if it were a full-fledged match because this is our last scrimmage before the Scotland game. So there will be a battle between two teams.

We came here not to relax but to work and achieve the results we want. And what we want is to qualify for the World Cup."

Scotland plays tough football, set pieces, you could say running back and forth. Good football, I like it. In England over half a season, I gained experience in such work, although sometimes we had to hold on and keep the score down, not every game was like that. We'll see after the match if my experience at Everton helped.

Regardless of the final score, I know that each player, everyone from medical staff to media will give their all for victory,"— said Mykolenko.

The 1/2 finals match of the World Cup qualifiers between Scotland and Ukraine will take place on June 1 in Glasgow at Hampden Park.
