Yesterday, three legionnaires arrived at the Ukrainian national team's location in Slovenia arrived. All of them departed with the team to Italy, where today the blue-and-yellow will face Empoli in a friendly match.

Forward Danilo Sikanchuk of German "Hamburg" and defender Taras Kachaраба of Czech "Slavia" shared their club news and feelings after arriving at the Ukrainian national team.

Даніло Сикан: «I feel good, a bit tired from the trip. But everything is fine, I don't need rest, I'm ready for anything, I'm preparing with a great attitude.

As for "Hamburg", we are satisfied that we have retained our place in the second Bundesliga, but the result of the last match was disappointing as we lost. However, we will try to do better next season.

In the club, I've already settled in. All the guys have been very helpful from day one. They asked how things were going and what they could help me and my family with. This really impressed me.

Did I expect to be called up for the national team? 50-50. Of course, it's very important for me. We need to show Ukraine that we are ready and fighting for our country. We have a great opportunity to qualify for the World Cup.

My mom and grandmother are currently staying in Germany. But many relatives are in Ukraine, I'm really worried about them. I talk with them every day. They light candles every day, it's very hard. The whole country hopes that everything will be fine. And we will win — this is 100 percent».

Taras Kachaраба: «The mood is very combative, positive, happy to join the national team.

Czechs strongly support Ukraine on all fronts. The coach of "Slavia" wished us success and said he hopes we will go through without injuries. He follows his players, knows how important these matches are for our country. Said that he'll be rooting for us.

The team was with me the whole time. My parents and my wife's parents are currently in Ukraine, in Lviv region. I'm really worried about this terrible situation. This is the worst thing that could have happened to our country. We talk with relatives every day, follow the news, know what's happening in Ukraine.

The whole country will be watching the current cycle of the national team. Upcoming matches are very important. I hope the boys give their all on the football field to fulfill the task set for them.

Last Sunday we had a derby, but I didn't play. The coach made some changes and brought in players who played less because we had a long and quite difficult season. We participated in the League Conference, Czech Cup and championship, there were many matches. But now I've joined the national team, emotions are positive, happy to see all the players, the entire staff. The mood is only combative».

Recall that the match of the 1/2 final of the World Cup qualification play-offs between Scotland and Ukraine will take place on June 1 in Glasgow at Hampden Park stadium.
