Note to your attention — operational information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 06.00 on May 15, 2022, regarding the Russian invasion of our country.

The eightieth day of the heroic resistance of the Ukrainian people against the Russian military invasion has begun.

The enemy continues to conduct offensive operations in the Eastern Operational Zone.

In the Volyn and Polesie Directions the enemy did not conduct active operations. There is a threat of missile and bomb strikes on objects within our country from the territory of the Republic of Belarus. In border areas, there is no exclusion for conducting demonstrative and provocative actions by units of the armed forces of the Republic of Belarus.

In the Northern Direction the enemy continues to strengthen the security of the Ukrainian-Russian border in the Bryansk and Kursk regions, conducts shelling and air strikes on the territory of Chernihiv and Sumy regions.

In the Slobozhanskyi Direction the enemy is using measures to reorganize its units, replenishing ammunition and fuel-oil materials to restore offensive capabilities.

In the Kharkiv Direction subunits of the enemy did not conduct active combat operations.

In the Slovyanskyi Direction the enemy carried out shelling of units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces. Attempted to break through our defenses, was unsuccessful. Conducting reinforcement and replenishment of losses, continues reorganizing troops for renewed advance towards Barvinkove and Slovyansk.

The enemy is trying to achieve success in the Bakhmut Direction. Despite losses, continues conducting offensive operations in the Lyman, Severodonetsk, Avdiivka, and Kurakhiv Directions. There are signs of reorganizing enemy troops in the Lyman and Bakhmut Directions.

In Mariupol city, our subunits remain blockaded in the area around the Azovstal plant. Aggressors continue to carry out air strikes and artillery shelling.

In the South Buzhskyi Direction the enemy did not conduct active combat operations. Continuing to hold occupied positions. Main efforts are focused on conducting aerial reconnaissance and shelling of Ukrainian Defense Forces positions.

The moral-psychological state in enemy units remains low, enemy subunits continue to suffer losses in manpower and equipment.

According to available information, due to significant losses of the 810th Separate Marine Brigade of the Black Sea Fleet during combat operations on Ukrainian territory, a decision was made to reinforce the brigade with personnel from other units within the Black Sea Fleet, including members of ship crews.

Over the previous day, subunits of anti-aircraft defense and air forces shot down eight aerial targets: seven unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) of the «Orlan-10» type, one aircraft.

Air Force continued to deliver fire strikes against the enemy from the air and supported combat operations of our troops. In particular, a platoon strongpoint, a battalion command post, ten armored vehicles, and an enemy personnel depot were destroyed.

Over the Donetsk and Luhansk Directions over the past day, twelve enemy attacks were repelled, eight tanks, five artillery systems, nine units of combat armored equipment, and five vehicles of the enemy were destroyed. There are also losses among Russian occupiers on other fronts.
