Yesterday, on May 12th, the Ukrainian Football Association organized an introductory seminar on child protection in football in Lviv Oblast. The event, which took place at the Sambir District Military Administration, brought together coaches, physical education teachers, and managers working in the city of Sambir and Sambir district.

The objectives of the introductory seminar:

— to familiarize participants with UEFA's concept and tools regarding child protection in football;

— to improve practical skills and motivation aimed at creating a safer environment for children in football;

— to introduce participants to the activities of the UAF concerning child protection in football, including the UAF's Child Protection Policy.

All participants were greeted by Deputy Head of RMA Pavlo Grabysky and Chairman of the Sambir District Football Association, Chairman of the Sambir District RO VFTS "Kolos" Ruslan Khomin.

At the end of May, work is also planned in Lviv Oblast on psychosocial support for children and youth through sports activities within the framework of the project «Beside You», which is supported by the Ukrainian Football Association.
