President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky addressed the nation, speaking about new crimes committed by the aggressor in Odessa and Lisichansk and condemning antisemitic statements made by Russia's Minister of Foreign Affairs.

"Ukrainians! Ukrainian women!

Our defenders and defenderesses!

The 68th day of our strong defense is coming to an end. The 68th day of Russia's self-destruction. Self-destruction in every sense of the word. If there was ever a reputation for this country, then now Russia does things every day that simply exclude any kind of adequacy.

Yesterday, for example, Russia's Minister of Foreign Affairs openly and without shame said that the greatest antisemites — supposedly among Jews themselves. And that supposedly Hitler had Jewish blood. How could anyone say such things on the eve of the anniversary of victory over Nazism? These words mean that the highest diplomat in Russia is transferring guilt for Nazi crimes to the Jewish people. There are no words.

Of course, today there's a huge scandal about these words in Israel. But nobody hears any denial or explanation from Moscow. They're silent. And this means they agree with what their Minister of Foreign Affairs said. After Russia's missile strike on Babyn Yar in Kyiv, after the Menorah damaged by shelling at Drobitsky Yar near Kharkov, after the deaths of ordinary people who survived Nazi occupation and Nazi concentration camps from Russian shelling, such an antisemitic incident by their minister means that those in charge in Russia have forgotten all the lessons of World War II.

Or maybe they never learned them. So the question is — will Israel's Ambassador stay in Moscow knowing their new position? Will relations with Russia remain as usual? Because it's not accidental. Not accidental words by Russia's Minister of Foreign Affairs — 'a great expert on Hitlerism.'

Not accidental that Russian occupiers on Ukrainian soil create so-called 'filtration camps,' through which they process thousands of our citizens, Ukrainians. Where they kill, torture, rape our people. Not accidental that the occupiers capture civilians and take them as hostages or deport them as free labor.

Not accidental that they wage what's called a total war to destroy everything alive, leaving only burned ruins of entire cities and villages behind.

To do this, you have to completely discard morality and the achievements of Nazi defeat. But if such people — in Russian leadership, it doesn't mean they can judge others in Europe or around the world by themselves.

If they send their citizens to die by the tens of thousands on foreign soil and don't even take back the bodies of the dead from streets, roads, fields, that doesn't mean everyone else is like them.

If among them are people who themselves come from Ukraine but support the extermination of Ukrainians and Ukrainian culture, it doesn't mean everyone else has abandoned normal human morality.

Today Russian troops delivered another missile strike on Odessa. Destroyed an apartment building. Killed a 14-year-old boy. Injured a girl aged 17; she has shrapnel wounds. What is this? For what purpose? What threat did these children and the apartment building pose to the Russian state? This is how they wage war. That's it.

In Lisichansk, Luhansk Oblast, a school that was over 100 years old burned down from a Russian shelling. It was built by Belgians for this city. It survived two world wars. But as we see, even this school turned out to be an immense threat to modern Russia.

220 Ukrainian children have been killed by the Russian army since February 24th. And we still don't know about all of them because we don't have access to temporarily occupied areas of our country. Over 1,570 educational institutions have been destroyed or damaged due to shelling.

That's why the entire free world has united to ensure no one justifies Nazism. No one kills children. No one destroys peaceful cities as Russia does.

Today in Kyiv, I met with Denmark's Minister of Foreign Affairs. We discussed the full range of bilateral issues, primarily defense-related, financial and political cooperation. I see progress in implementing agreements reached during talks with Denmark's Prime Minister. Thankful for good signals received.

We also talked about plans to rebuild Ukraine after the war and support our movement towards the European Union. Grateful that Denmark is resuming its embassy operations in our capital. This is already the 29th foreign representation returning to Ukraine.

Working on new sanctions against Russia. Soon we expect a new package from the EU. In this package, there should be clear steps to block Russia's income from energy resources. We hope for this very much so that the terrorist state doesn't receive billions of euros daily for fuel.

But it is already time now to prepare for further sanctions as well. In any case, we will have to block all export-import operations with Russia. Because they earn from this in Moscow and don't even understand that international law and peace in Europe need to be respected.

We continue doing everything to save our people from Mariupol. Evacuation operation is ongoing. Tomorrow we also expect movement through humanitarian corridors from Berdyansk, Tokmak, Vasilivka.

Ukrainian armed forces heroically hold back the occupiers' attempts to advance. The Kharkiv direction, Donbas, southern part of the country — everywhere the situation remains extremely difficult. But I am grateful to everyone and every woman who holds the defense.

Just signed a great decree on rewarding our military personnel. 438 members of Ukraine's Armed Forces have been awarded state honors.

The title of Hero of Ukraine has been bestowed upon Lieutenant Todorov Dmitry Ruslanovich for personal bravery and extraordinary effectiveness in battles against the occupiers in Donetsk Oblast.

Eternal glory to everyone who stood up to defend our country!

Eternal memory to all those who died for Ukraine!

Glory to Ukraine!"
