Note for your attention — operational information of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 06.00 on April 13, 2022, regarding the Russian invasion into our country.

The forty-ninth day of the heroic resistance of the Ukrainian people against the Russian military invasion has begun.

A full-scale armed aggression by the Russian Federation against Ukraine is ongoing.

The enemy continues to deliver rocket and air strikes on civilian infrastructure objects in Kharkiv and Zaporizhzhia regions. It actively conducts aerial reconnaissance.

Until April 26, the Russian Federation has introduced a so-called "yellow level of terrorist threat" in border areas with our country and temporarily occupied Crimea. These measures are likely aimed at organizing the movement of military equipment, weapons, and personnel into Ukrainian territory.

Occupants continue to transfer so-called "volunteers" to Ukraine. Thus, according to available information, a battalion consisting of about 400 people was formed in the Leningrad region. It is composed exclusively of military servicemen with combat experience. They were sent to Ukraine to reinforce one of the subunits of the 42nd motorized rifle division of the 58th combined arms army.

On the Northern direction, it cannot be ruled out that separate units will remain in border areas of Kursk region for demonstrative actions aimed at tying up our forces.

On the Slobozhansky direction, partial blockades and artillery shelling of Kharkiv city continue. On some temporarily occupied territories, the enemy manages to form subunits of so-called "people's militia". The necessary work is being carried out for this purpose.

On the Donetsk and Tavriysky directions, the opponent continued to deliver air strikes on Mariupol. It conducts an offensive in the area of the Azovstal metallurgical complex and the sea port.

On the Southern Bug direction the enemy is trying to capture individual populated areas, without success.

In the territory of Donetsk and Luhansk regions, Ukrainian defenders repelled six attacks by the enemy over the past day, destroying two units of automotive equipment and three artillery systems of the opponent.

By the grouping of Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the previous day, a Russian Su-25 aircraft was shot down. The opponent significantly reduced the use of aviation due to weather conditions.
